What Is the Master Skill Tree in MU Online S6

The Master Skill Tree is the endgame progression system in MU Online Season 6. After reaching level 400 with the 3rd class and completing the corresponding evolution quests, the character begins earning mastery points with every master level gained. These points are allocated in a tree that is unique to each class, unlocking damage improvements, defensive boosts, buffs, cooldown reductions, and abilities that do not exist in the normal progression path.

In S6, the six available classes and their final evolutions are:

Dark Knight → Blade Knight → Blade Master
Dark Wizard → Soul Master → Grand Master
Fairy Elf → Muse Elf → High Elf
Magic Gladiator → (no 1st/2nd quest) → Duel Master
Dark Lord → (CMD exclusive) → Lord Emperor
Summoner → Bloody Summoner → Dimension Master
Nota: The Magic Gladiator is the only class that skips both the 1st and 2nd evolution quests. It evolves directly into Duel Master upon reaching level 400, bypassing the intermediate steps that all other classes must complete. The MG also cannot equip Level 1 Wings — it starts directly with Level 2 Wings (Wings of Illusion for the mage-oriented build, or Wings of Ruin for the warrior-oriented build).

Tree Structure: Ranks and Requirements

The Master Skill Tree is organized into 4 Ranks (or groups), progressing from foundational to elite. Unlocking skills in higher ranks requires a minimum number of points spent in earlier ranks. The general structure is:

RankPoints required from previous ranksPredominant bonus type
Rank 1None (available from master level 1)Passive stat bonuses (STR, AGI, VIT, ENE)
Rank 210 points in Rank 1Improvements to existing skills (damage, range, duration)
Rank 310 points in Rank 2Cooldown reductions, enhanced AoE skills
Rank 410 points in Rank 3Exclusive master abilities and elite bonuses
Atenção: Point requirements between ranks may vary across private S6 servers. Always verify the specific configuration of the server you play on. The values above reflect the official S6 baseline.

Within each rank, skills are often split into three thematic columns — typically separating offensive, defensive, and support bonuses. Some ranks require points in specific column skills before the next skill below becomes available.

Class Breakdown: Blade Master (Dark Knight)

The Blade Master is the final form of the Dark Knight. Its master tree focuses on physical damage, attack speed, and survivability. The DK has one of the strongest mastery kits for intensive PvE farming areas.

Master SkillRankPrimary effect
Increase STR1+STR passive per point allocated
Increase HP1+Max HP passive
Decrease Mana1Reduces skill mana cost
Sword Increase2Increases base sword damage
Attack Speed Increase2+Attack speed
Cyclone Strengthen2Increases Cyclone damage and range
Combo Strengthen3Enhances the DK's combo attack system
Death Stab Master3Improves Death Stab (damage and penetration)
Gigas Increase4Exclusive skill — massive temporary STR buff
Dica: For a Blade Master focused on PvE farming (especially Aida and Karutan), prioritize Attack Speed Increase and Cyclone Strengthen in Rank 2. The DK combo in group areas is significantly more efficient with both of these maxed before advancing to Rank 3.

Class Breakdown: Grand Master (Dark Wizard)

The Grand Master concentrates its mastery on area-of-effect magic damage, mana cost reduction, and enhanced buff effectiveness. It is the class with the highest AoE damage potential in S6.

Master SkillRankPrimary effect
Increase ENE1+ENE passive per point
Increase Mana1+Max Mana
Soul Barrier Strengthen2Increases Soul Barrier absorption
Lightning Strengthen2Increases Lightning damage
Nova Strengthen3Increases Nova damage and radius
Ice Storm Master3Improves Ice Storm (duration and damage)
Chain Lightning Master4Enhanced version of Chain Lightning

Class Breakdown: High Elf (Fairy Elf)

The High Elf has the most versatile master tree in S6, with separate branches for support builds (buff/heal) and damage builds (bow). It provides the highest party support bonuses of any class in the game.

Master SkillRankPrimary effect
Increase AGI1+AGI passive
Increase HP1+Max HP
Heal Strengthen2Increases HP restored by Heal
Defense Buff Strengthen2Improves the party Defense buff
Multishot Strengthen2Increases Multishot damage and projectile count
Arrow Rain Master3Enhanced AoE bow skill
Triple Shot Master3Triple Shot with extended range and damage
Infinity Arrow4Exclusive skill: continuous arrow barrage (channeled)
Dica: An Elf in support build should prioritize Heal Strengthen and Defense Buff Strengthen before any offensive skills. In an endgame party with DK and DW, a High Elf with maxed support mastery can effectively double the group's farming efficiency.

Class Breakdown: Duel Master (Magic Gladiator)

The Duel Master inherits reduced versions of both the DK and DW trees. Its mastery reflects that duality — half the points benefit physical skills and half benefit magical ones. It is the most flexible build class in S6, though without the depth of either original class.

Master SkillRankPrimary effect
Increase STR / ENE1+STR or +ENE (separate columns)
Sword Increase2Increases sword damage (physical branch)
Lightning Strengthen2Increases Lightning damage (magic branch)
Earthshake Master3Earthshake with wider area and higher damage
Plasma Ball Master3Plasma Ball with improved speed and damage
Chaotic Diseier Master4Duel Master exclusive skill
Atenção: The Magic Gladiator cannot equip Level 1 Wings. Unlike other classes, it begins directly with Level 2 Wings (Cape of Fighter for physical builds, Wings of Illusion for magic builds). This affects early-game itemization, but in the endgame with mastery unlocked there is no significant disadvantage.

Class Breakdown: Lord Emperor (Dark Lord)

The Lord Emperor is unique for having the exclusive Command (CMD) attribute, which determines how many and which familiars (Spirits) it can control. The DL's mastery tree has an entire branch dedicated to empowering those familiars.

Master SkillRankPrimary effect
Increase CMD1+CMD passive (more active familiars)
Increase STR1+STR passive
Fire Burst Strengthen2Increases Fire Burst damage
Charisma Increase2Improves effectiveness of DL's party buffs
Dark Raven Strengthen3Dark Raven familiar with increased damage
Dark Horse Strengthen3Dark Horse familiar with improved stats
Imperial Fort4Exclusive skill: massive area buff for the whole party

Class Breakdown: Dimension Master (Summoner)

The Dimension Master (final Summoner evolution) has the most debuff- and damage-over-time-oriented mastery tree in S6. The relevant ancient sets for Summoner include Gaia (Dark Soul) and Broy (Venom Mist).

Master SkillRankPrimary effect
Increase ENE1+ENE passive
Increase Mana1+Max Mana
Sleep Strengthen2Increases Sleep duration and resistibility
Drain Life Strengthen2Drain Life with higher HP steal
Requiem Master3Requiem with larger area and damage
Sahamutt Master3Sahamutt with increased damage and range
Nota: The Summoner is the only S6 class introduced primarily as a support/control class. Its mastery tree reflects this: even in higher ranks, debuff and crowd-control bonuses tend to exceed pure damage bonuses. In PvP, a Dimension Master with maxed Sleep and Drain Life is exceptionally difficult to counter.

General Point Distribution Strategy

The most important decision in the Master Skill Tree is not spreading points randomly in the early master levels. The first 10 points should go entirely into one specific column of Rank 1 to unlock Rank 2 as quickly as possible.

Standard opening strategy (any class):
Master Level 1–10 → Rank 1, primary column for your build
  Master Level 11–20 → Rank 2, core damage/buff skills
Master Level 21–30 → Complete requirements to unlock Rank 3
Master Level 31+ → Rank 3 skills and saving toward Rank 4

From Rank 3 onwards, most classes start to feel a meaningful performance difference in farming areas. Rank 4 skills are the most powerful, but reaching them requires careful planning of earlier point allocations to avoid wasted capacity.

Dica: If you are on a server where resetting mastery points is expensive or impossible, simulate your distribution in a spreadsheet before confirming. Poorly allocated points in early ranks delay Rank 4 unlocks by dozens of master levels.

Summary Table: Rank Requirements by Class

Class (3rd Evolution)Rank 1 to 2Rank 2 to 3Rank 3 to 4
Blade Master10 pts in Rank 110 pts in Rank 210 pts in Rank 3
Grand Master10 pts in Rank 110 pts in Rank 210 pts in Rank 3
High Elf10 pts in Rank 110 pts in Rank 210 pts in Rank 3
Duel Master10 pts in Rank 110 pts in Rank 210 pts in Rank 3
Lord Emperor10 pts in Rank 110 pts in Rank 210 pts in Rank 3
Dimension Master10 pts in Rank 110 pts in Rank 210 pts in Rank 3

Rank transition requirements are standardized in official S6. The available skills within each rank, however, differ completely between classes — no master skill is shared between two different classes.

Perguntas frequentes

At what level can I access the Master Skill Tree?

The Master Skill Tree unlocks after reaching level 400 with your 3rd class evolution. From that point, every master level gained grants 1 mastery point to allocate in the tree.

How many mastery points can I accumulate in total?

Each master level grants 1 point. The theoretical maximum depends on the server — in standard S6 the master level cap is typically 200, giving 200 total points. Private servers may adjust this cap.

Does the Magic Gladiator have a Master Skill Tree?

Yes. The MG evolves into Duel Master and has its own tree. However, the MG skips both the 1st and 2nd evolution quests — it advances directly to the 3rd evolution upon reaching level 400, unlike all other classes.

Do master skills replace normal skills?

No. Master Skills enhance existing abilities or grant permanent passive bonuses. Normal skills remain in use throughout gameplay — mastery is an additional power layer stacked on top of the standard kit.

Does the Dark Lord need CMD for master skills?

The Dark Lord uses the exclusive Command (CMD) stat to control familiars and certain abilities. In the Lord Emperor mastery tree, some bonuses scale with CMD, but mastery points themselves are allocated independently.
