MU Online sets and items: Excellent, Ancient and how to upgrade
Understand MU Online's item types — common, Excellent and Ancient — and how to build a strong set for PvP and PvM.
Items are what separate an average character from a PvP monster. In MU Online there are three big categories — knowing the difference keeps you from throwing away a treasure.
Item types

Excellent items
Excellent options make all the difference in combat: damage/attack increase, HP or mana recovery per hit, reduced damage taken, attack speed increase.
Ancient sets
Ancient items belong to legendary sets. Equipping several pieces of the same ancient set activates set bonuses (more strength, HP, damage…). Completing a full ancient set is one of the big end-game goals.
