The world of MU Online is divided into regions that escalate in difficulty, monster level, and quality of drops. Knowing the right progression order saves enormous amounts of time — and knowing where specific items and bosses are found is essential for end-game planning. This guide covers all Season 6 maps in order of progression.

Dica: Quick progression order: Lorencia (1-30) → Noria/Devias (30-60) → Dungeon (60-100) → Lost Tower / Atlans (100-150) → Tarkan (130-220) → Icarus / Aida (150-250) → Kanturu (250-350) → Raklion (300-380). Use this order as a baseline and adjust based on your server's rates and character build.

Starter maps — level 1 to 60

LORENCIA — The starting hub:

What it is:
→ City map — hub of all NPCs, merchants, and teleport portals
→ Every character starts here
→ Safe zone in most configurations (no PvP near NPCs)

Monster level range: 2-25 (in the fields around the city)
Best monsters to farm:
→ Hound (level 3-5): very early drops, JoB occasionally
→ Spider (level 8-10): early armor drops
→ Budge Dragon (level 12-15): reliable early drops
→ Elite Skeleton / Skeleton Warrior (level 20-25): first "useful" drops

NPC highlights:
→ Chaos Goblin: Combination NPC — use for Wing L1 and item creation
→ Store Manager: buy and sell items
→ Teleport NPC: access to other maps (level-gated)
→ Event NPCs: Blood Castle, Devil Square registration

Lorencia tips:
→ Don't stay in Lorencia past level 30 — you'll out-level the monsters fast
→ Use Lorencia primarily as your market hub (buy/sell) throughout the game

---

NORIA — The Elf homeland:

What it is:
→ Forest map with low-level monsters
→ Traditionally associated with Fairy Elf characters (starts here on some servers)
→ Similar level to Devias but with slightly different monster types

Monster level range: 5-35
Best monsters:
→ Elves (monster): drops early accessories
→ Forest Monster: drops armor
→ Gnoll (some versions): reliable early farm

Noria tips:
→ Good option if Devias is too crowded (competition for spawns)
→ Less popular than Devias so often has more monsters available

---

DEVIAS — Ice fields:

What it is:
→ Snow/ice themed map
→ Very popular starting farm zone
→ Slightly higher monster level than Lorencia fields

Monster level range: 15-50
Best monsters:
→ Ice Monster: drops JoB occasionally
→ Yeti (level 45-55): better drops, worthwhile from level 30+
→ Assassin (Devias): drops weapons and accessories early

Devias tips:
→ Dark Lord and Magic Gladiator are strong in Devias early
→ Transition out of Devias by level 60 — Dungeon is more efficient

---

DUNGEON — The underground:

What it is:
→ 3-floor dungeon structure (D1, D2, D3/Deep Dungeon)
→ Difficulty increases with each floor
→ Good intermediate zone between starter maps and Atlans

Floors:
D1: Level 60-90 (Skeleton Warriors, Dark Knights mobs)
D2: Level 90-120 (Hell Spider, Cursed King — more challenge)
D3 (Deep): Level 120-160 (Gorgon, Lich, Dark Witch)

Best monsters per floor:
→ D1: Skeleton Warrior — early armor drops
→ D2: Hell Spider — drops medium-level items
→ D3: Dark Witch and Lich — highest drops in Dungeon

Dungeon tips:
→ D3 can be dangerous without decent gear — avoid alone at low level
→ Good Bless/Soul drop location in D2-D3
→ The multi-floor structure helps spread player competition across floors

Intermediate maps — level 60 to 180

LOST TOWER — The endless tower:

What it is:
→ Multi-floor tower (6 floors in most S6 versions)
→ Each floor progressively harder
→ Popular for classes that benefit from monster density (DW Nova, DK Twisting Slash)

Floor levels:
LT1: Level 70-90
LT2: Level 90-110
LT3: Level 110-130
LT4: Level 130-150
LT5: Level 150-170
LT6: Level 170-200

Best monsters:
→ Ghost (lower floors): good Jewel drops
→ Thunder Lich: drops medium gear
→ Death King (high floors): best drops in Lost Tower

Lost Tower tips:
→ LT5-6 is competitive — popular among players who prefer it over Atlans
→ Dark Lord is very strong in LT6 (Fire Scream AoE)
→ Often used for Bless farming by mid-game players

---

ATLANS — Underwater depths:

What it is:
→ Underwater themed map
→ Parallel to Lost Tower in difficulty range
→ Access: no special item needed (just level)

Monster level range: 100-160
Best monsters:
→ Great Bahamut: drops good weapons and armor
→ Silver Valkyrie: drops accessories and some Excellent items
→ Lizard King: stronger monster with better drop table

Atlans tips:
→ Elf characters (bow-based): excellent in Atlans (ranged advantage)
→ DW with high ENE: very efficient here (Nova covers multiple monsters)
→ Watch for player PvP — Atlans is a popular PvP zone

---

TARKAN — Desert of the elite:

What it is:
→ Desert/dark themed map
→ Elite-tier monsters with significantly higher HP and damage
→ Major step up from Atlans and Lost Tower

Monster level range: 130-250
Best monsters:
→ Kentaurus (level 130-150): early Tarkan option
→ Kundun's Servants (medium area): reliable drop zone
→ Iron Knight / Bali: level 200+ zone of Tarkan, high drops

Access requirements:
→ Recommended: Wing L1 minimum (for survivability boost)
→ With Excellent gear +6 and a solid build: Tarkan is farmable from level 130

Tarkan tips:
→ Tarkan is the longest-used map in S6 (130 all the way to 250+)
→ At higher levels: come back to Tarkan for Excellent item farming
→ Iron Knight spots in deep Tarkan are contested — arrive at off-peak hours

Flying and mid-high maps — level 150 to 300

ICARUS — The flying map:

What it is:
→ Sky map — flight required to navigate
→ Beautiful visually with cloud platforms
→ Access: requires Wing L1 or higher (or Dinorant/Fenrir flying)

Monster level range: 160-250
Best monsters:
→ Dark Phoenix (high Icarus): rare Excellent item drops
→ Phantom Knight: drops good items for level 160-180 range
→ Ice Walker (some versions): good midgame drop

Access requirements:
→ MUST have flying ability: Wing L1+ or Dinorant equipped
→ Characters without flight: cannot enter or move effectively
→ Fenrir: also provides flying (in some server configurations)

Icarus tips:
→ Fairy Elf has natural advantage (bow + flying = perfect)
→ Many players skip Icarus in favor of Aida — personal preference
→ Good for leveling to 200 if Tarkan is very crowded

---

AIDA — Dark forest:

What it is:
→ Dark forest themed map
→ One of the primary leveling zones from 150-250
→ Drop quality: very good, especially for Excellent items

Monster level range: 150-280
Best monsters:
→ Bloody Queen: one of the best monsters in this level range for drops
→ Dark Elf (monster): drops weapons and armor
→ Shadow Master (some versions): higher drop quality

Aida tips:
→ Very popular map — expect competition for spots
→ The "Bloody Queen" is the main attraction — try to have a dedicated spot
→ DW + Nova is dominant here (dense monster groupings)

End-game maps — Season 6 (level 280+)

KANTURU — The crystalline fortress:

What it is:
→ High-end S6 map added in Season 6 episodes
→ Three zones: Kanturu 1, Kanturu 2, Kanturu 3 (Relics)
→ Home to the Nightmare boss — exclusive source of Jewel of Creation

Monster level range: 250-370
Best monsters:
→ Elpis (Kanturu 1): level 280-320 — reliable farm
→ Minotaurus (Kanturu 2): level 320-350 — better drops
→ Twisting (Kanturu 3/Relics): level 350+ — top drop table

Kanturu bosses:
→ Nightmare (Kanturu 3): drops Jewel of Creation, top-tier Excellent items
→ Requires organized group of 5+ strong characters
→ HP: extremely high — DW Nova + DK DPS combination recommended

Access notes:
→ Kanturu 1-2: open access (just need level)
→ Kanturu 3 (Relics): some servers require quest or item to access

Kanturu tips:
→ DO NOT enter Kanturu without Wing L2 minimum — you will die instantly
→ Excellent items from Kanturu can have the best option combinations in S6
→ Nightmare boss respawn time varies by server (30-90 minutes common)

---

RAKLION — The dragon's domain:

What it is:
→ The highest-level map in most S6 server configurations
→ Final end-game zone before the very top content
→ Home to Selupan: the most powerful boss in S6

Monster level range: 300-400
Best monsters:
→ Selupan Servant (outer area): level 300-330 — excellent drop zone
→ Iron Wheel: level 340-370 — drops top-tier items
→ Tanatos (deep Raklion): level 380-400 — extreme farm for max-level characters

Raklion boss — Selupan:
→ The hardest boss in Season 6
→ HP: massive — requires raid of 8+ characters
→ Drops: Jewel of Creation, top-tier Excellent items, rare Ancients
→ Selupan's arms: additional mini-bosses that must be managed during fight

Raklion tips:
→ Wing L3 + Fenrir Black is the recommended setup to survive in Raklion
→ Selupan requires guild coordination — solo attempts will fail
→ Server guilds often compete for Selupan spawn control

---

KARUTAN — The rocky wastelands:

What it is:
→ Alternative high-level map (added in later S6 episodes)
→ Slightly less popular than Raklion but important end-game option

Monster level range: 350-400
Best monsters:
→ Condra: level 360-380 — good drop rate
→ Narcondra: level 380-400 — top farm spot

Karutan tips:
→ Less crowded than Raklion — good option when Raklion is contested
→ Drop quality comparable to outer Raklion

Dungeon and event maps

KALIMA — The boss dungeon:

What it is:
→ Instanced dungeon for the Kalima boss sequence
→ Kalima 1 through Kalima 7 (each requires entry ticket)
→ Final floor (Kalima 7): Kundun — the final boss of classic MU Online

Access:
→ Drops: "Lost Map" from various monsters
→ Lost Map + Jewel of Chaos = Sealed Kalima Gate (ticket)
→ The map level of the ticket determines which Kalima floor you access

Bosses:
→ Kalima 1-6: Kundun Servants (each floor stronger)
→ Kalima 7: KUNDUN — drops Jewel of Creation + best items in S6

Kalima tips:
→ You NEED a group for Kalima 5+ — solo is very difficult
→ Kalima 7 should only be attempted with full S6 end-game gear
→ Kundun's respawn window is valuable — coordinate with your guild

---

CRYWOLF — The fortress defense:

What it is:
→ Event map: the entire server defends against Balgass
→ Not a regular farm zone — participates in Crywolf event

Key mechanic:
→ If Crywolf defense FAILS: Balgass drops Loch's Feather
→ Loch's Feather = required for Wing L3 crafting
→ This is the ONLY source of Loch's Feather in S6

---

Blood Castle, Devil Square, Chaos Castle:

Event maps only — accessed via event tickets at specific times.
See the Events guide for full details on participation and rewards.

→ Lost Tower high floors: Twisting Slash handles dense groups well

→ Aida: Nova destroys Bloody Queen groups efficiently
→ Kanturu 2: dense monster groups = perfect Nova targets
→ Devil Square (event): DW is the top class for DS events

Fairy Elf:
→ Icarus: flying advantage + ranged = perfect combination
→ Atlans: ranged bow skills without position disadvantage
→ Aida: Triple Shot handles monster density well

Magic Gladiator:
→ Tarkan: can use both sword and staff skills efficiently
→ Raklion: versatile melee/magic build handles diverse monsters
→ Flexible across maps due to hybrid class nature

Dark Lord:
→ Lost Tower: Fire Scream AoE devastates tower monsters
→ Aida: Fire Scream on Bloody Queen groups = excellent EXP
→ Raklion: support role with Fire Scream + party buffs

Summoner:
→ Kanturu: Drain Life works on high-HP monsters
→ Aida: Weakness + Decay on Bloody Queen = effective attrition
→ PvP zones: Summoner is very hard to kill when played correctly
Nota: On high-rate servers (x500+), you may pass through the starter maps so quickly that the first time you actually stay and farm for progression will be Tarkan or even Kanturu. On low-rate servers (x1-x15), each map zone may represent weeks of playtime. The map progression in this guide is designed for mid-rate servers (x100-x300) — adjust your timeline based on your server's EXP rate.
Atenção: Never enter a map far above your level without backup. MU Online's difficulty spikes sharply between zones — a character that farms comfortably in Atlans can die in seconds in Kanturu. Always test a new map with full HP potions and an escape route (teleport or portal) before committing to farming there.

See also the leveling guide by level range (progression advice per level bracket), the farm guide by class (which monsters are best for each class), and the events guide (event maps: Blood Castle, Devil Square, Crywolf).

Frequently asked questions

What is the first map in MU Online?

Lorencia is the starting map, where every character begins. It is the hub city — all NPCs and merchants are here. Ideal for levels 1-30 (farm: Hound, Spider, Elite Skeleton). After that, move to Noria/Devias or the Dungeon depending on your class.

How do I travel to other maps?

Use the portals located in city maps (Lorencia, Devias, Noria) to move between zones. Some maps require specific items to enter: Icarus needs a flying mount (Wing L1+ or Dinorant), Kalima needs a Sealed Kalima Gate ticket. High-rate servers may have warp commands (e.g. /warp tarkan).

What level should I go to Kanturu?

In Season 6, Kanturu is an end-game map recommended for level 300+. The monsters there hit very hard and have high HP. With low character level, you will die repeatedly. It is common for players on mid-rate servers to reach Kanturu only after multiple resets.

Which map has the best farm in S6?

Depends on your level. For leveling: Tarkan (130-220), Raklion (280-380). For Jewel of Creation farming: Kanturu 3 (Nightmare boss) and Raklion (Selupan). For Excellent items: Icarus, Aida and Kanturu 1-2 have good loot tables. On high-rate servers everything is faster — focus on the highest-level map you can survive in.
