Overview of the Progression

Reaching level 300 in MU Online S6 is only the beginning. The real progression starts here: sets change, weapons evolve, and stat distribution becomes decisive for your role in the game — whether that is farming Jewels, competing in Castle Siege, or fighting in PvP.

This guide covers the window from level 300 to Master Level (ML 200), divided into three phases with class-specific recommendations.

Nota: Master Level begins after completing the 3rd Quest and reaching level 400. Each ML point costs progressively more EXP, but each skill tree offers powerful passive bonuses such as increased damage, defense, and attack speed.

Phase 1: Level 300 to 350 — Intermediate Sets and Tarkan Farming

In this range, Tarkan is the primary map. The monsters Ice Queen (Tarkan 230, 55), Zaikan (Tarkan 187, 100), and Mutant (Tarkan 150, 80) offer solid EXP and reasonable chances to drop +7/+9 items.

  • Ice Queen: Moderate EXP, good Jewel of Soul drop rate
  • Zaikan: Frequent drops of mid-tier rare items
  • Mutant: Ideal for group farming (party of 3 to 5 players)
Dica: Prefer farming in a 5-player party in Tarkan. The group EXP bonus offsets the drop split and significantly speeds up leveling in this range.

Muse Elf (AGI archer):
→ STR: 50 | AGI: 400 | VIT: 100 | ENE: 25

Magic Gladiator (hybrid):

Bloody Summoner (ENE):
→ STR: 30 | AGI: 30 | VIT: 100 | ENE: 450

Phase 2: Level 350 to 400 — Advanced Sets and Transition to Aida/Karutan

New Spots

Starting at level 350, Aida and Karutan become the reference maps.

  • Aida 1 (Aida 50–180): Cursed Lich and Ax Warrior drop Jewel of Bless and high-level items frequently
  • Aida 2 (Aida 200+): For characters above 370 with +9 set. Monsters like Shadow Pawn and Shadow Knight offer excellent EXP
  • Karutan 1 (Karutan 150, 150): Kundun's Knight and Schriker for intensive EXP
  • Karutan 2: Only for fully geared builds with +9/+11 sets above level 390
Atenção: Karutan 2 requires a minimum defense of 700 to survive without a party healer. Do not enter with a set below +9 — the Kundun's Knight monsters kill poorly geared characters in 2 to 3 hits.

Sets by Class (Level 350–400)

Blade Master (pre-ML):
→ Dark Phoenix +9 or Hurricane +9
→ Weapon: Sword of Destruction +9 or Giant Sword +9

Grand Master (pre-ML):
→ Sphinx Ancient +9 with ENE options

High Elf (AGI):
→ Wind Ancient +9 or Sunlight +9
→ Bow: Silver Bow +9 or Chaos Nature Bow +9

Duel Master (STR+ENE):
→ Black Dragon +9 or Dragon Ancient +9
→ Weapon: Dueling Sword +9 or Dragon Spear +9

Lord Emperor (CMD):
→ Dark Phoenix Set +9
→ Weapon: Lord Scepter +9 or Daybreak +9

→ STR: 400 | AGI: 150 | VIT: 200 | ENE: 25

Grand Master (full ENE):
→ STR: 50 | AGI: 30 | VIT: 150 | ENE: 700+

High Elf (AGI archer):
→ STR: 50 | AGI: 600 | VIT: 100 | ENE: 25

Duel Master (STR+ENE hybrid):
→ STR: 300 | AGI: 80 | VIT: 120 | ENE: 350

Lord Emperor (CMD heavy):
→ STR: 100 | AGI: 50 | VIT: 150 | ENE: 200 | CMD: 500

Dimension Master (ENE):
→ STR: 30 | AGI: 30 | VIT: 120 | ENE: 750+
Nota: The Magic Gladiator (→Duel Master) does not complete the 1st and 2nd Quests, and cannot equip Level 1 Wings. Target Level 2 Wings directly. The Dark Lord (→Lord Emperor) uses CMD to strengthen summoned creatures (Fenrir, Dark Horse) and group skills.

Phase 3: Level 400+ and Master Level — Endgame Sets and ML Trees

The Transition to Master Level

Upon reaching level 400 and completing the 3rd Quest, your character gains access to the Master Level system. Each ML point is distributed across three trees (Damage, Defense, Utility — names vary by server) with progressive bonuses.

Recommended ML distribution by character type:

Blade Master (PvM tank):
1. Maximize Defense Success Rate (DSR)
2. Increase HP (VIT tree)
3. Twisting Slash damage bonus

Grand Master (ENE mage):
1. Maximize Chain Lightning damage
2. Soul Barrier bonus (protection)
3. Attack Rate bonus (ENE tree)

High Elf (AGI archer):
1. Maximize Triple Shot damage
2. Attack Speed bonus (AGI tree)
3. Improve Heal/Buff efficiency

Lord Emperor (CMD):
1. Dark Raven damage bonus
2. Increase CMD for more simultaneous summons
3. Improve Critical Damage

Endgame Sets (ML 50–200)

Dica: In the endgame, the difference between +11 and +13 on the right Ancient set can far exceed the benefit of switching to a different set. Prioritize refining the correct item before chasing new drops.

The most sought-after endgame sets in S6 are:

  • Blade Master: Volcano Set Ancient +11/+13 or Hurricane Set Ancient +11
  • Grand Master: Enis Set Ancient +11 (double ENE bonus) or Divine Set +11
  • High Elf: Thunder Hawk Set Ancient +11 with +Skill or +Speed option
  • Duel Master: Volcano Ancient +11 or Black Dragon Ancient +11
  • Lord Emperor: Darkangel Set Ancient +11 with CMD+
  • Dimension Master: Legendary Set Ancient +11 with maximum ENE

Endgame Weapons

Blade Master:
→ Sword of Destruction +13 (+Luck +Skill) — primary PvM weapon
→ Crystal Sword +13 — PvP alternative with ATK Speed

Grand Master:
→ Staff of Destruction +13 (+Luck +ENE) — the only viable choice

High Elf:
→ Chaos Nature Bow +13 (+Skill +Speed) — maximum DPS
→ Silver Bow +11 — economical alternative

Duel Master:
→ Dueling Sword +13 (+STR +Skill)
→ Dragon Spear +13 — for more ENE-focused builds

Lord Emperor:
→ Daybreak +13 (+CMD +Skill) — the only scepter with CMD bonus

Dimension Master:
→ Book of Sahamutt +13 (+ENE +Luck)

Wings in the Endgame

Level 3 Wings are the peak of wing progression in S6:

Wing L3 = Wing L2 + 3x Loch's Feather + Jewel of Creation
→ Loch's Feather: drops from Balgass (Crywolf final boss)
ONLY when Crywolf FAILS (players fail to defend the Wolf Altar)

Wing L3 by class:
→ Blade Master: Wing of Storm (STR/DEF)
→ Grand Master: Wing of Eternal (ENE/mana)
→ High Elf: Wing of Illusion (AGI/miss rate)
→ Duel Master: Wing of Ruin (STR+ENE)
→ Lord Emperor: Cape of Emperor L3 (CMD/DEF)
→ Dimension Master: Wing of Dimention (ENE/summon)
Atenção: The Duel Master (Magic Gladiator) cannot craft Level 1 Wings — skip directly to L2 and then L3. The Dark Lord's Cape of Emperor uses a different formula: Cape L2 + Loch's Feathers + Jewel of Creation.

Progression Summary Roadmap

Level 300:
→ Secure at least +7 Tarkan Ancient set
→ Farm in Tarkan (Zaikan, Ice Queen)
→ Accumulate Jewels of Bless/Soul for upgrades

Level 320–350:
→ Upgrade set to +9 (use Luck to increase success chance)
→ Start farming in Aida 1 (Cursed Lich)
→ Look for Level 7+ weapons with relevant options

Level 350–380:
→ Switch to advanced-tier set (Dark Phoenix, Sunlight, Sphinx)
→ Start Karutan 1 (from level 360 with +9 set)
→ Complete Crywolf for server bonuses

Level 380–400:
→ Finalize +11 set for your class
→ Secure +9 weapon with aligned options for your build
→ Prepare for 3rd Quest

Level 400+ (Master Level):
→ Distribute ML points focused on 1 or 2 priority trees
→ Hunt Ancient +11/+13 sets with correct options
→ Farm in Vulcanus/Acheron for intensive ML EXP
→ Craft Wing L3 when you have 3x Loch's Feather
Nota: Vulcanus and Acheron are the highest-difficulty and highest-EXP maps in S6. For efficient farming there, you need defense above 900, a minimum +11 set, and ideally Level 3 Wings.

Final Progression Tips

There is no safe shortcut from level 300 to a completed Master Level. The path involves consistent farming, smart Jewel management, and build choices aligned with your role — PvM, PvP, or support. Focus on one character, build the correct set before diversifying, and use weekly events (Blood Castle, Devil Square, Crywolf) as supplementary sources of EXP and rare drops.

Perguntas frequentes

What set should I use when I reach level 300?

At level 300, prioritize Ancient sets from Tarkan (e.g., Plate Ancient for DK, Pad Ancient for DW). These sets carry attribute bonuses that make a real difference in survivability and damage output.

When should I upgrade to +9 or +11?

Move to +9 when you have enough Jewels of Bless and Soul to avoid breaking the item. The +9 to +11 jump requires Jewels of Life to recover lost Luck slots — only do this when you have confirmed the item as your endgame piece.

What is better for Blade Master: Full STR or VIT?

For PvM farming in the endgame, Full STR with ~200 VIT is more efficient. For Castle Siege and intense PvP, stack more VIT (300+). A Blade Master with 400 STR, 200 VIT, and the rest in AGI is the widely accepted balance.

What weapon should a Grand Master use at level 350–400?

Grand Master should prioritize Staff of Destruction +9 or higher. From ML onward, the ENE bonus scales maximally with Master Level tree points invested in the energy branch.
