What is Master Level and How It Works for Fairy Elf

Master Level (ML) is the post-level-400 progression system in MU Online S6. Once your Fairy Elf reaches level 400, all experience gained converts into Master Level XP. Each ML rank earned grants 1 Mastery Point to distribute in your class Mastery Tree.

For the Fairy Elf, the Mastery Tree splits into four main branches:

  • Attack Branch — increases bow damage, critical/excellent rates, Multi-Shot and Infinity Arrow
  • Defense Branch — increases HP, physical defense, and elemental resistance
  • Support Branch — strengthens Heal, Defense/Attack Buffs, and Holy Recovery
  • Special Skills Branch — unlocks and upgrades Infinity Arrow and Rapid Arrows
Nota: Master Level ranges from ML1 to ML200 in standard S6 (400 total points). Private servers may cap ML higher or lower — check your server configuration before planning your build so you know how many points you will have available at full cap.

Prerequisites Before Starting Master Level

Before entering the Mastery system, you need:

1 → Reach level 400 as a Fairy Elf (Muse Elf or High Elf)
2 → Complete the 3rd Class Quest to become High Elf (required for High Elf skills)
3 → Have minimum equipment to farm ML XP efficiently
4 → Have at least Wings L2 equipped (Wings of Spirits +0 already function)
Atenção: Muse Elf does NOT need to complete the 3rd Quest to access Master Level. However, High Elf has additional scaling skills in the attack tree and is strongly recommended for any damage-focused endgame build.

Stat Allocation at Level 400

Before distributing Mastery Points, ensure your base stats are correct. Wrong base stat distribution cannot be undone without a full character reset.

Dica: Keep at least 80 STR to equip high-level Elf bows and armor (Wind Bow, Silver Bow, Chaos Crossbow). Dropping STR below the item's minimum requirement leaves you unable to equip your weapon.

Mastery Tree: Attack Branch

The primary branch for any High Elf focused on PvM or PvP.

Infinity Arrow Chain (top priority for High Elf)

Multi-Shot Strengthening (max 10 pts) → +10% Multi-Shot damage per point
    ↓
Triple Shot Strengthening (max 10 pts) → increases Triple Shot area and damage
    ↓
Infinity Arrow Unlock (10 pts) → unlocks the Infinity Arrow skill
    ↓
Infinity Arrow Strengthening (max 10 pts) → +~2% damage and range per point

Infinity Arrow is the High Elf's signature skill: fires arrows in a straight infinite line, piercing through multiple enemies. With 10/10 points in the strengthening node, base damage increases by approximately 20%.

Critical and Excellent Damage Chain

Critical Damage Rate Increase (max 10 pts) → +10% critical hit rate per point (max +30% total)
    ↓
Excellent Damage Rate Increase (max 10 pts) → +10% excellent damage rate
    ↓
Bow Mastery (max 10 pts) → +5% damage with all bows and crossbows per point
Dica: For PvM farming in Aida and Karutan, prioritize Bow Mastery and Critical Damage Rate before unlocking Infinity Arrow. The higher base damage speeds up farming and lets you unlock Infinity Arrow faster due to quicker XP gain.

Mastery Tree: Support Branch

For Muse Elf support roles and hybrid High Elf party builds.

Heal and Buff Chain

Heal Strengthening (max 10 pts) → +15% HP restored per Heal cast per point
    ↓
Defense Strengthening (max 10 pts) → +10% defense granted by Defense Buff per point
    ↓
Attack Strengthening (max 10 pts) → +10% damage granted by Attack Buff per point
    ↓
Holy Recovery Strengthening (max 10 pts) → increases HP regen rate from Holy Recovery Buff
Nota: With 10/10 Heal Strengthening, the High Elf's Heal restores over 5,000 HP per cast on high-VIT characters. In Castle Siege, a support Elf with maximized Heal is worth more than any additional DPS slot — she keeps tanks and damage dealers alive through waves.

Mana and Stamina Chain

Mana Reduction (max 10 pts) → reduces skill mana cost by up to -20%
    ↓
Stamina Increase (max 10 pts) → increases maximum AG (required for Infinity Arrow and Multi-Shot spam)

Mastery Tree: Defense Branch

Invest a maximum of 20-30 points in this branch for basic survivability. An attack-oriented High Elf should not over-invest here.

Master Vitality Enhancement (max 10 pts) → +200 HP per point (+2,000 HP total at 10 pts)
    ↓
Defense Rate Increase (max 10 pts) → +5% dodge rate per point
    ↓
Damage Reduction (max 10 pts) → reduces incoming damage by up to -10% total

Best Farm Spots for Master Level XP

  • Monsters: Death Beam Knight (level 115), Shadow Assassin (level 112), Shadow Scout (level 110)
  • Location: Aida open field, especially central area (approx. coords 130, 150)
  • Why it works: Monsters spawn in tight groups, high base XP, valid Jewel drops
  • Minimum setup: Silver Bow or Chaos Crossbow +9, Wings L2, 500+ AGI
  • Monsters: Kundun's Slave (level 118), Condor Feather Soldier (level 120)
  • Location: Karutan 1, dense spawn in northern area (approx. coords 100, 80)
  • Advantage: Frequent Excellent item drops, long sessions without needing to return to town

Vulcanus / Acheron (ML 100+)

  • Monsters: Selupan's Guard (level 125+), Kundun Elite Soldier
  • Requires: Wings L2 +9 minimum, Chaos Crossbow +13 or Silver Bow +13
  • Reward: Highest ML XP rate in S6, rare item drops including Dark Pegasus Set pieces
Atenção: PvP is enabled in Vulcanus and Acheron. Always have Invisibility Potions available or be part of a strong guild. The High Elf has low physical defense and dies quickly to fully-geared Blade Masters — coordinate with guildmates before farming alone in these maps.

Early Phase (ML 1-50)

  • Weapon: Silver Bow +9+L or Chaos Crossbow +9+L
  • Armor: Wind Set (Wind Helm, Wind Armor, Wind Pants, Wind Gloves, Wind Boots) +9+L
  • Wings: Wings of Spirits (L2) +0 to +9
  • Jewelry: 2x Ring of Ice +L, Pendant of Wind +L

Mid Phase (ML 51-120)

  • Weapon: Silver Bow +11+L+Excellent or Chaos Crossbow +11+L
  • Armor: Wind Set complete +11+L with Excellent options (Double Damage Rate, Ignore Defense)
  • Wings: Wings of Spirits (L2) +9 to +13
  • Jewelry: 2x Ring of Wind +L, Pendant of Wind +L

Endgame Phase (ML 120+)

  • Weapon: Chaos Crossbow +13+L+Excellent (ideal options: Ignore Enemy Defense Rate + Excellent Damage Rate)
  • Armor: Dark Pegasus Set complete +13+L+Excellent
  • Wings: Wings of Eternal (L3) — requires Wing L2 + 3x Loch's Feather + Jewel of Creation
  • Jewelry: Socket items with AGI and critical rate options
Nota: Wings of Eternal (L3) for Elf are crafted by combining your Wings L2 with 3x Loch's Feather and 1x Jewel of Creation in the Chaos Machine. Loch's Feather only drops from the boss Balgass — and only when the Crywolf event FAILS. Participate in Crywolf events; the feathers drop when the monster side wins.

Daily ML Farm Routine

To maximize Master Level progression consistently:

1 → Log in + apply potions (Attack Potion, Defense Potion, Stamina Potion)
2 → Devil Square (daily event) → high ML XP per time invested
3 → Blood Castle (daily event) → XP + item drops
4 → Farm in Aida or Karutan for 2-3 hours with Infinity Arrow
5 → Chaos Castle (daily event) → additional XP
6 → Review day's drops and trade Jewels at Lorencia Market
Dica: Party XP bonuses apply to Master Level XP. Farming in a full party of 5 at the same spot grants up to +60% bonus XP. Pair with a Dark Wizard using Teleport to group monsters — the High Elf clears the entire cluster with a single Infinity Arrow pass.

Common Mistakes When Distributing the Mastery Tree

  1. Investing in elemental resistance nodes (Fire, Ice, Lightning) before maxing damage. Elemental resistance only matters in specific PvP matchups, never in PvM farm.
  1. Ignoring Stamina Increase: Infinity Arrow and Multi-Shot burn AG rapidly. Without points in Stamina Increase, you run out of AG mid-farm and lose significant DPS uptime.
  1. Over-investing in VIT: More than 20 points in the defense branch means less DPS. High Elf is not a tank — leave that role to the Blade Knight in your party.
  1. Not unlocking Infinity Arrow early on high-XP-rate servers: On servers with boosted XP rates, you accumulate ML quickly. Prioritize unlocking Infinity Arrow within the first 30 points so every farm session is immediately more efficient.
Dica: If your server allows Mastery reset (using Jewel of Chaos + a Zen fee), it is worth testing the pure support build before fully committing to the attack tree. A support Elf with maximized Heal and buffs is often more valued in competitive guilds than a second or third DPS character.

Perguntas frequentes

What is the difference between Muse Elf and High Elf in the Master Level system?

Both classes share the same Mastery Tree structure, but the High Elf (obtained after completing the 3rd Class Quest) has higher base stats and access to stronger scaling on attack nodes. The Muse Elf is better suited for a pure support build maximizing Heal Strengthening and Holy Recovery. High Elf can fully exploit AGI-attack branches including Infinity Arrow.

How many Mastery Points does Infinity Arrow require to unlock?

Infinity Arrow requires 10 points in the Infinity Arrow Unlock node. Before reaching it, you must invest: Multi-Shot Strengthening (5 pts minimum) → Triple Shot Strengthening (5 pts minimum) → Infinity Arrow Unlock (10 pts). Minimum total: 20 points spent in the chain before Infinity Arrow activates.

What is the best farm spot for Fairy Elf Master Level XP?

Aida open field is the top choice for an AGI High Elf using Infinity Arrow. Death Beam Knights (level 115) and Shadow Assassins (level 112) spawn in tight groups around coordinates 130, 150. With a Chaos Crossbow +13 and Wings L2+9, a High Elf with 500+ AGI clears spawns in seconds and accumulates ML XP efficiently.

Is it worth investing Mastery Points into VIT for a High Elf?

For an attack-oriented High Elf, no. Limit VIT investment to 10 points in Master Vitality Enhancement for basic survivability (+2,000 HP). All remaining points should go toward damage nodes (Bow Mastery, Critical Damage Rate, Excellent Damage Rate) or support nodes (Heal Strengthening, Defense Strengthening) depending on your role.

How do I get Wings L3 for Fairy Elf?

Wings of Eternal (Level 3 Wings) require: your existing Wings L2 + 3x Loch's Feather + 1x Jewel of Creation, combined in the Chaos Machine. Loch's Feather only drops from the boss Balgass — and only when the Crywolf event FAILS. Participate in Crywolf events but you need the defense to fail for the feathers to drop.
