Summoner First and Second Quest: Step-by-Step Guide

Complete guide to the Summoner quests in MU Online S6: requirements, monsters, items and stat allocation to evolve into Bloody Summoner.

VI ViciadosMU Team · Updated on 3 jul 2026 · ⏱ 12 min read

The Summoner is the only class in MU Online S6 that uses summons and debuff magic as primary combat tools. Evolving to Bloody Summoner (1st evolution) unlocks more powerful area-of-effect abilities, summons with higher damage, and the ability to equip items exclusive to the advanced class. This guide covers every step of both quests with exact numbers, correct monsters, and the ideal stat allocation.

Overview of Summoner Quests

The Summoner has two main quests before the third quest (Dimension Master):

  • 1st Quest (Level 150): evolves the base Summoner into Bloody Summoner
  • 2nd Quest (Level 220): unlocks advanced skills and prepares for the 3rd quest
Nota: Unlike the Dark Knight and Dark Wizard, the Summoner does NOT need an intermediate quest to obtain her level 1 wings. The Wings of Spirits can be crafted normally through the Chaos system starting at level 100, regardless of quest completion.

Before starting the quests, make sure your stat distribution is correct. The Summoner is an ENE (Energy) heavy class, with secondary investment in AGI for defense and attack speed.

Level 150 (before the 1st Quest):

  • STR: 30 (minimum to equip support items)
  • AGI: 100 (attack speed and defense)
  • VIT: 50 (basic survivability)
  • ENE: remainder (~170–180)

Level 220 (before the 2nd Quest):

  • STR: 30
  • AGI: 120
  • VIT: 80
  • ENE: remainder (~290–300)
Dica: Do not waste points in STR above 30–40 on the Summoner. All class damage comes from ENE. Every point in ENE increases skill damage and the effectiveness of summons (Sahamutt, Neil, Lagle).

First Quest: Summoner → Bloody Summoner

Level Requirement and Conditions

  • Level: exactly 150 or higher
  • Resets required: depends on server configuration (usually 0 or 1)
  • NPC: Priestess Sevina — Noria (173, 109)

Required Items

Before talking to Priestess Sevina, you will need to have on hand:

→ 1x Scroll of Blood (dropped in Dungeon 1-2 or Atlans)
→ 1x Glass of Illusion (dropped in Lost Tower 1-2)
→ 1x Claw of Beast (dropped by Dark Knight in Dungeon 2)
→ Enough Zen (varies by server, usually 500,000–2,000,000 Zen)
Atenção: Required items may vary depending on server configuration. Confirm with a GM or on the server's official forum which items Priestess Sevina is requesting. On custom S6 servers, the base quest items are usually kept, but Zen amounts change.

Step-by-Step: 1st Quest

1. Reach level 150 with your Summoner
2. Go to Noria → coordinates (173, 109) → talk to Priestess Sevina
3. Select the "Quest" option from the dialogue menu
4. Read the displayed requirements and confirm you have the items
5. Hand over the Scroll of Blood + Glass of Illusion + Claw of Beast
6. Pay the required Zen
7. Confirm the evolution → your Summoner becomes a Bloody Summoner
8. Check your new skills in the skills menu (press S)

What Changes When You Become a Bloody Summoner

After the evolution, you unlock:

  • Sahamutt (summon): tank summon, ideal for holding monsters
  • Neil (summon): moderate-damage summon, useful in dense areas
  • Lagle (summon): rarer summon, high single-target damage
  • Drain Life (enhanced): improved version with greater range
  • Access to exclusive Bloody Summoner items (Sphinx set, Valiant set)
Dica: As soon as you become a Bloody Summoner, redirect 2–3 levels of points into ENE. The summons scale directly with ENE — the more ENE, the more damage and HP your summons have.

Where to Farm Items for the 1st Quest

Scroll of Blood

  • Location: Dungeon Floor 1 and 2
  • Monsters: Dark Knight (Dungeon 2), Skeleton Archer, Hell Spider
  • Useful coordinates: Dungeon 2 between (100, 80) and (150, 120)
  • Drop rate: low — expect 30–90 minutes of farming

Glass of Illusion

  • Location: Lost Tower Floor 1 and 2
  • Monsters: Ghost, Poison Shadow, Shadow (Lost Tower 1)
  • Useful coordinates: Lost Tower 1 between (200, 100) and (240, 140)
  • Drop rate: moderate — usually 20–50 minutes

Claw of Beast

  • Location: Dungeon Floor 2
  • Monsters: Dark Knight (specific mob, giant armored NPC)
  • Useful coordinates: Dungeon 2 central area (120, 100) to (160, 140)
  • Drop rate: low-moderate — 30–60 minutes of farming
Nota: If you have trouble surviving in Dungeon 2 or Lost Tower at levels 140–149, prioritize AGI to increase your defense. A Summoner with 100 AGI at level 140 has enough defense to withstand spaced hits and use Drain Life to heal.

Second Quest: Bloody Summoner (Level 220)

The second quest does not visually change the class but unlocks the full potential of Bloody Summoner skills and is a prerequisite for the third quest (Dimension Master, level 400).

Level Requirement and Conditions

  • Level: exactly 220 or higher
  • NPC: Priestess Sevina — Noria (173, 109)
  • Prerequisite: must have completed the 1st quest (be a Bloody Summoner)

Required Items

→ 1x Bead of Chaos (crafted at Chaos Goblin or rarely dropped)
→ 1x Flame of Death Fire (dropped in Tarkan or Atlans 3)
→ 1x Hymn of a Lost Angel (dropped in Lost Tower 5–6 or Icarus)
→ Zen (varies by server, usually 2,000,000–5,000,000 Zen)
Atenção: The Bead of Chaos is the hardest item to obtain. It can be crafted at the Chaos Goblin using Jewel of Chaos + other components, or obtained as a rare drop in Kalima. Check the server's craft guide for the exact recipe.

Step-by-Step: 2nd Quest

1. Reach level 220 as a Bloody Summoner
2. Gather the 3 required items + Zen
3. Go to Noria → Priestess Sevina (173, 109)
4. Select "2nd Quest" from the dialogue
5. Hand over the items and pay the Zen
6. Confirm → advanced skills are unlocked
7. Check new skills in the menu (press S) — look for new area buffs

Where to Farm Items for the 2nd Quest

Flame of Death Fire

  • Location: Tarkan (any floor) or Atlans 3
  • Monsters: Kentaurus (Tarkan), Zaikan, Mutant (Atlans 3)
  • Tarkan coordinates: area between (100, 50) and (180, 150)
  • Tip: Tarkan 1 has higher Kentaurus density, easier to farm at levels 200–220

Hymn of a Lost Angel

  • Location: Lost Tower Floor 5 and 6, or Icarus (any area)
  • Monsters: Devil (Lost Tower 5), Balrog (Lost Tower 6), Cursed Wizard (Icarus)
  • Note: Icarus requires equipped Wings L1 to access. With Wings of Spirits, Bloody Summoner can already enter.

Bead of Chaos

  • Craft via Chaos Goblin in Noria:
→ 1x Jewel of Chaos + variable items (confirm the server's recipe)
→ Success rate: ~80% (varies by server)
  • Drop: Kalima 1–3, as a rare drop from any monster

Leveling Progression Map

Use this progression map to avoid wasting time in the wrong areas:

Level RangeRecommended MapMain Monsters
1–80Lorencia / NoriaBudge Dragon, Hound, Stone Golem
80–130Dungeon 1–2Skeleton, Dark Knight, Hell Spider
130–180Atlans 1–2Bahamut, Hydra, Sea Witch
180–220Tarkan 1Kentaurus, Ice Monster, Mutant
220–280Tarkan 2 / Aida 1Death Beam Knight, Bloody Wolf
Dica: Between levels 150 and 220 (the stretch between the two quests), keep your summons (Sahamutt + Neil) always active in Atlans 1 or Tarkan 1. Monsters in those areas die fast with summons and high ENE, accelerating leveling before the 2nd quest.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Investing too much in STR: the Summoner does not use physical weapons for damage. STR above 40 is pure waste — put everything into ENE.

Ignoring AGI: without AGI, the Summoner's defense becomes critical in Dungeon and Lost Tower. Keep at least 80–100 AGI before the 1st quest.

Not having quest items ready: each item can take hours to drop. Start farming 1st quest items from level 120 so you are not stuck at 150.

Attempting the quest with a full inventory: items are consumed upon delivery. Make sure you have inventory space to receive the quest reward.

Atenção: Do not confuse the evolution quest with the Master Level system. The Summoner quest is done with Priestess Sevina in Noria and is mandatory for the class change. The Master Level (Dimension Master) is unlocked by the 3rd quest at level 400.

Before the 1st Quest (level 100–150)

  • Weapon: Staff of Kundun +5 to +7 or higher
  • Armor: Legendary Set (Summoner) or Hyon set — prioritizing ENE bonuses
  • Wings: Wings of Spirits (L1, crafted via Chaos) from level 100 onward

After the 1st Quest (level 150–220)

  • Weapon: Chaos Lightning Staff +7 or higher (excellent ENE bonus)
  • Armor: Sphinx Set +7 to +9 — best cost-benefit ratio for Bloody Summoner
  • Accessories: Ring of Magic (50+ ENE bonus) if available

Before the 2nd Quest (level 200–220)

  • Weapon: Grand Soul Staff or Staff of Destruction +7
  • Armor: Sphinx Set +9 or Valiant Set — defensive with ENE bonus
  • Wings: Wings of Darkness (L2) if already crafted — significant damage bonus
Nota: The Wings of Darkness (Summoner L2 Wings) require Wings of Spirits +9, Jewel of Chaos, and Loch's Feather to craft Wings L3. Focus first on completing the 2nd quest, then optimize wings and equipment for progression toward level 400 and the 3rd quest.
