Fairy Elf First and Second Quest: Step-by-Step Guide

Complete guide to the Fairy Elf 1st and 2nd quests in MU Online S6: required items, farm spots, NPCs, stat builds, and what changes when you become Muse Elf and High Elf.

The Fairy Elf is one of MU Online S6's most versatile classes — a strong solo archer and indispensable in groups for her unique buff skills. The first two quests are the path to Muse Elf and then High Elf: evolutions that unlock the class's full potential.

Dica: Before farming any quest item: talk to the quest NPC first to confirm exactly what your server requires. The items listed below are the S6 standard, but private servers often adjust quest requirements.

The Elf evolution chain

Fairy Elf → (1st Quest, level ~150) → Muse Elf → (2nd Quest, level ~220) → High Elf

Fairy Elf (base class):
→ Skills: Multi Shot, Penetration, Defense/Attack buff, Summon
→ No wing access
→ 5 stat points per level

Muse Elf (after 1st quest):
→ Upgraded Triple Shot (3 simultaneous arrows)
→ Access to Wing of Elf (Level 1 Wing)
→ Improved Greater Defense and Greater Damage buffs
→ Nightmare skill unlocked

High Elf (after 2nd quest + 3rd quest):
→ Final class form
→ Exclusive High Elf skills
→ Master Level access (level 400+)
→ Can equip Wing of Goddess (Elf Level 2 Wing)

The Fairy Elf has two main build paths. Decide before spending stat points.

AGI Archer build (farming and physical damage)

Level 150 (before 1st quest):
→ STR: 100 (minimum to equip mid-tier bows)
→ AGI: 200 (priority — raises attack, speed, and defense simultaneously)
→ VIT: 50 (baseline survivability)
→ ENE: 20 (minimum to use skills)

Level 220 (before 2nd quest):
→ STR: 120
→ AGI: 350 (continue investing — each point raises damage and defense)
→ VIT: 80
→ ENE: 20

Level 400 (pre-Master Level endgame):
→ STR: 150
→ AGI: 600+
→ VIT: 120
→ ENE: 20-50

Recommended gear for this build:
→ Bow: Silver Bow +9 or Chaos Nature Bow +7 from Muse Elf onward
→ Armor: Wind Elf Set or Vine Set +7 or better
→ Gloves: Silver Elf Gloves with speed options

Buff Support build (party/event support)

Level 150 (before 1st quest):
→ STR: 60 (minimum to equip a basic bow)
→ AGI: 100 (minimum defense to survive)
→ VIT: 40
→ ENE: 250 (priority — determines buff strength)

Level 220 (before 2nd quest):
→ STR: 70
→ AGI: 120
→ VIT: 60
→ ENE: 500+

Level 400 (endgame):
→ STR: 80
→ AGI: 150
→ VIT: 80
→ ENE: rest (900+)

Note: ENE build has low physical damage — you rely on the group to farm.
Trade-off: your Greater Defense/Attack buffs are dramatically stronger for the party.
Nota: AGI is uniquely efficient for the Elf because a single stat simultaneously increases physical attack power, attack speed, and defense. This is why AGI Archer dominates solo farming — no other class gets three major benefits from one stat like the Elf does.

First Quest — Fairy Elf to Muse Elf

   - Soram (Tarkan, south-central area): ~6% chance
   - Salamander Warrior (Tarkan): ~4% chance
→ Alternative: Icarus — Ice Walker (~5%), Gorgon (~4%)
→ Quantity: 1 unit
→ Estimated farm time (mid-rate): 20-40 minutes

Item 2: Earthworm Beast Blood (or Tears of Elf — varies by server)

Talk to the NPC before farming to confirm the exact requirement.

Step-by-step first quest walkthrough

Complete sequence:

Step 1 → Go to Devias and talk to the quest NPC
Step 2 → Note the exact items required (confirm on the NPC, not just in this guide)
Step 3 → Farm Scroll of Emperor in Tarkan (focus Bali — spawn around T=127/112)
Step 4 → Farm the second item in Dungeon (Dark Skull — spawn around D2=113/94)
Step 5 → Store items in your main inventory (NOT the extra bag in some server versions)
Step 6 → Return to the quest NPC in Devias
Step 7 → Deliver the items
Step 8 → Confirmation — character becomes Muse Elf instantly
Step 9 → Access new skills in the skill menu
Step 10 → Craft Wing of Elf as soon as possible (via Chaos Machine in Noria)
Atenção: Do not accidentally sell the Scroll of Emperor — it appears as a common item in the inventory but has a scroll icon. Identify it visually and store it separately before starting your farm.

Second Quest — path to High Elf

The second quest is the prerequisite for the third quest that transforms Muse Elf into High Elf. In S6, the flow is:

Muse Elf (post 1st quest) → 2nd Quest (level ~220) → requirement fulfilled
→ 3rd Quest (level ~300-380) → High Elf + Master Level

Requirements and items (S6 standard)

Minimum level: 220 (verify on your server)
NPC: same quest NPC or a separate 2nd quest NPC in Devias/Lorencia

Common items for the Elf's 2nd quest:

Item 1: Feather of Dark Phoenix (or similar)
→ Best farm location: Icarus — Phoenix of Darkness (~6-8%)
→ Spawn coordinates: Icarus I=120/100 and I=95/85 (central/south area)
→ Alternative: Balgass (Crywolf event) — guaranteed drop but event-dependent
→ Quantity: 1-3 units

Item 2: Blood of Dark Lord (or Claw of Beast)
→ Best farm location: Tarkan Floor 2 / Icarus
→ Monsters: Soram Warrior, Death Spirit (Icarus)
→ Quantity: 1

Item 3: Dark Stone (some server versions)
→ Best farm location: Lost Tower Floors 5-7
→ Monsters: Thunder Maul (~5%), Ash Slayer (~4%)
→ Quantity: 1-2

Total estimated time: 1.5-3 hours depending on the server's drop rate

Step-by-step second quest walkthrough

Step 1 → Reach level 220 as Muse Elf
Step 2 → Talk to the 2nd quest NPC (confirm if it's the same NPC or different)
Step 3 → Note the 2nd quest items (they differ from the 1st quest)
Step 4 → Farm Feather of Dark Phoenix in Icarus (Phoenix of Darkness)
→ Travel to Icarus via Staff of Resurrection or Lorencia Airport (level 50+)
→ Recommended spot: central Icarus area (I=115/90)
Step 5 → Farm secondary item in Lost Tower 5-7 or Tarkan as indicated
Step 6 → Return to the NPC with all items
Step 7 → Deliver → 2nd quest complete
Step 8 → Continue leveling toward the 3rd quest requirement

What changes at each evolution

Muse Elf (after 1st quest)

Immediate gains:
→ Triple Shot: fires 3 simultaneous arrows (vs 1 arrow as Fairy Elf)
→ Penetration: skill that bypasses part of the target's defense
→ Greater Defense Buff: larger defense bonus for the party, wider range
→ Greater Damage Buff: larger attack bonus for the party, wider range
→ Wing of Elf (Level 1 Wing): +20% bow damage + access to Icarus map

Farming impact:
→ Triple Shot increases AoE efficiency by 3x (3 monsters per shot)
→ With Wing of Elf equipped: +25-30% effective damage
→ New accessible spots: Icarus, early Aida

High Elf (after 3rd quest, via 2nd quest)

Final evolution gains:
→ Final visual form of the class (new appearance)
→ Exclusive High Elf skills unlocked
→ Master Level available upon reaching level 400
→ Can use Wing of Goddess (Elf Level 2 Wing): crafted with Jewel of Creation

Endgame impact:
→ Without 3rd quest complete: impossible to gain Master Level points
→ Every day without completing the 3rd quest = permanently lost ML EXP
→ Prioritize the 3rd quest as soon as you have the required level

Leveling map progression toward the quest

Level range by map (Elf):

Level 1-80: Lorencia (Bulls, Budge Dragons) and Noria (Golems, Homunculuses)
Level 80-120: Devias (Ice Monsters, Yetis) and Dungeon Floor 1 (Goblins, Skeletons)
Level 120-150: Dungeon Floors 2-3 (Dark Skull, Shadow) — farm 1st quest items here
Level 150-180: Atlans Floor 1 (Sea Witch, Crust) — after 1st quest as Muse Elf
Level 180-220: Atlans Floors 2-3 (Lizard King, Valkyrie) and Lost Tower 4-5
Level 220-280: Tarkan Floors 1-2 (Bali, Soram) — farm 2nd quest items here
Level 280-350: Icarus (Ice Walker, Phoenix of Darkness, Gorgon)
Level 350-400: Aida Floors 1-2 (Dark Elf, Shadow of Kundun) or Karutan
Dica: As AGI Muse Elf, the Atlans Floor 2 spot (Sea Witch + Valkyrie) is highly efficient between levels 180-220. Sea Witch drops mid-tier items worth trading — use this time to accumulate Zen and Jewels while earning EXP.

Gear milestones by phase

Phase 1 — Fairy Elf (level 1-150):
→ Bow: Short Bow → Elven Bow → Serpent Crossbow
→ Armor: Bronze Elf Set → Vine Elf Set (Noria/Devias)
→ Minimum for 1st quest: Vine Set +4, Elven Bow +5

Phase 2 — Muse Elf (level 150-220):
→ Bow: Chaos Crossbow or Silver Bow +7
→ Armor: Silk Elf Set or Wind Elf Set +7
→ Wing of Elf (craft at Chaos Machine: 1x Wings + Chaos + Jewels)

Phase 3 — pre-High Elf (level 220-400):
→ Bow: Nature Bow or Chaos Nature Bow +9 with HP/Speed options
→ Armor: Spirit Elf Set +9 or Dark Phoenix Set (Icarus drop)
→ Mire Bow (Aida drop) is an excellent option at level 300+
Atenção: Wing of Elf is essential as soon as you complete the 1st quest. Without it, you lose 20-30% of the damage efficiency that every other classed character with wings has. Prioritize crafting it before continuing to level.

Common quest mistakes

MistakeConsequenceHow to avoid
Selling the Scroll of EmperorMust farm it againStore it separately as soon as it drops
Farming the wrong monsterHours with no resultConfirm the monster at the NPC first
Attempting 1st quest below level 150NPC refuses the questCheck the level requirement before farming
Skipping Wing of Elf after 1st quest25%+ damage lossCraft immediately after becoming Muse Elf
Ignoring the 2nd questCannot reach High Elf / no MLComplete it immediately at the required level
Nota: Magic Gladiator and Dark Lord do not go through the 1st and 2nd quest like other classes. The Fairy Elf/Muse Elf/High Elf chain completes all 3 quests — this means more cumulative stat bonuses compared to classes that skip steps.

Perguntas frequentes

What level do I need for the Fairy Elf 1st quest?

The standard S6 requirement is level 150. Private servers may adjust this to 180 or 200. Always talk to the quest NPC first to confirm your server's exact requirement before farming.

Where do I farm the Scroll of Emperor for the Elf quest?

The Scroll of Emperor drops most reliably in Tarkan from Bali (~8% chance) and Soram (~6%). Icarus is an alternative with Ice Walker (~5%) and Gorgon (~4%). Mid-rate servers typically have 10-15% drop rates. Focus on Bali in Tarkan for the fastest result.

What does the Muse Elf unlock compared to Fairy Elf?

Muse Elf gains Triple Shot (3 simultaneous arrows per shot), improved Greater Defense and Greater Damage buffs with longer range and duration, the Penetration skill, and access to Wing of Elf (Level 1 Wing). Attack speed and physical damage increase with the new form, making solo farming significantly more efficient.

Should I build AGI Archer or Buff Support for the Elf?

Choose AGI Archer if you want to farm solo and deal physical damage. Choose Buff Support (ENE-focused) if you want to maximize Greater Defense/Attack buffs for party play in events like Blood Castle and Devil Square. AGI is the dominant choice for solo progression; ENE requires a reliable party to farm efficiently.
