Duel Master Full ENE Build: Magic Damage Mage Magic Gladiator
Complete Full ENE build guide for Duel Master: stat allocation, gear, farm spots, and PvP tips for the magical MG in MU Online S6.
What Is the Full ENE Duel Master Build
The Magic Gladiator (MG) is the only class in MU Online S6 that bypasses the traditional class change quests. It evolves directly into the Duel Master upon reaching level 220 with 200 points in a specific attribute, and has exclusive access to skills from both the DK and DW classes — making it exceptionally versatile.
The Full ENE build focuses on maximizing the Energy (ENE) stat to amplify magical skills: Inferno, Drain Life, and Earthshake. The result is a character with explosive magical damage, capable of clearing PvM maps at impressive speed while dealing high damage in PvP.
Stat Allocation by Level
The MG starts with fixed base stats: STR 26, AGI 26, VIT 26, ENE 16. Each level grants 7 free attribute points. Follow the progression below:
Level 1–50 (Initial Magic Gladiator)
→ Invest: 5 ENE + 2 STR per level
→ Target at level 50: STR ~60 | AGI 26 | VIT 26 | ENE ~166
→ Goal: unlock Inferno and Drain Life skills as early as possible
> [!TIP] > The minimum STR at this phase only serves to equip basic weapons like the Staff of Resurrection or Thunder Staff. Do not waste points on AGI — the Full ENE MG does not rely on dodge.
Level 51–150 (Farm Dungeon / Lost Tower)
→ Invest: 7 ENE per level
→ Target at level 150: STR ~60 | AGI 26 | VIT 26 | ENE ~836
→ Target gear: Legendary Set or Storm Crow Set
Level 151–220 (Pre-Duel Master)
→ Adjust: 5 ENE + 2 VIT per level (prepare survivability for Atlans/Tarkan)
→ Target at level 220: STR ~60 | AGI 26 | VIT ~80 | ENE ~1,100+
→ Automatic evolution to Duel Master upon reaching level 220
Level 221–400 (Consolidated Duel Master)
→ Invest: 7 ENE per level
→ Target at level 400: STR 60 | AGI 26 | VIT 80 | ENE ~2,300
→ With Master Level: redistribute ML points into Energy Branch and Defense
> [!WARNING] > Do not put points into AGI. The MG defense formula benefits primarily from STR and VIT in the context of this build. High AGI is only relevant for hybrid STR+AGI physical attack builds, which is completely outside the Full ENE objective.

Farm Spots by Level Range
Level 1–30: Lorencia (Wolves and Bulls)

Level 31–80: Dungeon Floor 1 and 2
→ Monsters: Skeleton Warrior, Dark Knight (Dungeon)
→ Floor 1: approximate coordinates (36–60, 60–100) — south corridor
→ Floor 2: Skeleton Archers and Hound — more EXP, harder
→ Use: Inferno on groups, Drain Life on high-defense monsters
Level 81–150: Lost Tower Floors 3–5
→ Monsters: Devil (LT3), Death Knight (LT4), Blaze (LT5)
→ Death Knight: HP ~1,800, high density, excellent EXP

→ Carry at least 200 large HP potions per session
Level 151–220: Atlans Floors 1–2
→ Monsters: Bahamut (Atlans 1), Poison Bull (Atlans 1-2), Lizard King (Atlans 2)
→ Lizard King: HP ~4,500, good drops of Jewel of Bless and Soul

→ Watch out: Poison Bull applies persistent poison — cure with Antidote Potion
Level 221–300: Tarkan Zone 1
→ Monsters: Tantalo (HP ~8,000), Zaikan (Tarkan Boss)

Level 301–400: Aida and Karutan
→ Aida: Dark Elf (HP ~12,000), Corrupt Knight — top tier EXP

→ Combine Aida farm with Devil Square events to maximize EXP
Skills and PvP Combo
Duel Master Full ENE Primary Skills
| Skill | Use | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Inferno | Main PvM AoE | Fire area damage, excellent on groups |
| Drain Life | PvM single target / PvP | Drains HP from target to caster |
| Earthshake | Disruptive PvP | Causes knockback and area damage |
| Plasma Storm | PvP burst | High magic damage concentration |
Basic PvP Combo
→ Step 1: Close the gap using Teleport (inherited DW skill)
→ Step 2: Earthshake for knockback and initial damage
→ Step 3: Plasma Storm on the off-balance target
→ Step 4: Drain Life to finish and recover HP
→ Step 5: Inferno if the target tries to flee (area damage)
> [!TIP] > In PvP against Blade Master (DK tank), prioritize Drain Life — the skill partially penetrates physical defense. Against Grand Master (Full ENE DW), maintain distance and use Earthshake to interrupt their skill casts.
Wings Progression
Wings of Storm (L2) — Required for Duel Master
→ Chaos Combination ingredients:
- Wings of Devil (DK L1) OR Wings of Heaven (DW L1) — either works
- 1x Jewel of Chaos
- Sufficient Zen (~5,000,000)
→ Success rate: ~70% (use Luck Option on the base item)
→ Bonuses: +Damage Absorb, +Mana Recovery, option slot
Wings of Eternal (L3) — Endgame
→ Ingredients:
- Wings of Storm +9 or higher
- 3x Loch's Feather (exclusive drop from Balgass when Crywolf FAILS)
- 1x Jewel of Creation
→ Success rate: ~50% — keep backup items ready
→ L3 Bonuses: superior damage absorption, +% magical damage
> [!WARNING] > Loch's Feather ONLY drops from Balgass when the Crywolf event ends with monster victory (defense fails). Participate in the event to check the outcome. When Crywolf fails, rush to the central altar — Balgass spawns and can drop Loch's Feather.
Master Level: Where to Invest
Upon reaching level 400, the Master Level system unlocks. For Full ENE Duel Master:
→ Priority 1: Increase Max Mana (Energy Branch) — expand mana pool
→ Priority 2: Increase Min/Max Magic Damage — raw damage increase
→ Priority 3: Mana Reduction (reduces skill cost)
→ Priority 4: Increase Defense — compensate for low VIT
→ Avoid: Increase STR, AGI (irrelevant for Full ENE)

Perguntas frequentes
Can the Full ENE Duel Master use Level 3 Wings?
Yes. The Magic Gladiator cannot complete the 1st and 2nd Quests, so it skips Level 1 Wings entirely. Wings progression starts directly at Wings of Storm (L2) via Chaos Combination, then advances to Wings of Eternal (L3) using Wings of Storm +9 + 3x Loch's Feather + Jewel of Creation.
How much ENE is enough for a Duel Master Full ENE at level 400?
Aim for 600–700 base ENE before item bonuses. With a +13 set and Ancient Items with ENE options, you can surpass 900 effective ENE, which maximizes damage output on Inferno and Drain Life.
Does the Full ENE Duel Master die a lot in Tarkan?
Yes, this is the build's main weakness. With low VIT (~50–80), two or three hits from Elite Tantalo can be lethal. Use a Life Recovery Set, keep potions on hotkeys 1-2, and maintain distance. In a party with a support Elf the problem is drastically reduced.
Which skill is better for PvM farm — Inferno or Drain Life?
Inferno for monster groups (excellent AoE in Lost Tower and Atlans). Drain Life for single high-defense targets, as the damage partially bypasses elemental resistance. Combine them situationally.
