Lost Tower: Overview of the Structure

Lost Tower is one of the most iconic vertical maps in MU Online S6, composed of 7 floors with progressively increasing difficulty. The three upper floors — 5, 6 and 7 — represent the true test of strength for advanced characters, featuring elite monsters, high spawn density, and valuable drops of Excellent and Ancient equipment.

Unlike open maps such as Tarkan or Aida, Lost Tower features closed corridors and interconnected rooms. Positioning and area-of-effect (AoE) control are decisive factors for farming efficiency — a poorly positioned character can be surrounded by 6 to 8 monsters simultaneously.

Nota: Lost Tower has 7 floors in total. Floors 1 through 4 are accessible from Lorencia and Noria via the NPC Archangel Michael. Floors 5, 6 and 7 are accessed sequentially from floor 4 by climbing the internal staircases of the map — there are no direct portals from cities to these floors.

Floor 5 — Lost Tower 5

Requirements and Context

Floor 5 marks the transition into Lost Tower's high-risk territory. Monsters here have higher elemental resistances and deal considerable physical and magical damage, making survival progressively more demanding.

Recommended level: 220 to 270 Minimum recommended defense: 400+ Minimum recommended HP: 2,500+

Atenção: The Poison Bull Fighter applies a continuous Poison effect even through blocking. Characters with low poison resistance (below 30%) will suffer 80–120 HP per tick every 2 seconds. Keep Antidotes in your inventory or use items with Poison resistance.

Floor 6 — Lost Tower 6

Requirements and Context

Floor 6 is the ideal balance between risk and reward in Lost Tower. Monster density is high, Excellent item drops appear more frequently, and experience per hour is significant for characters between level 270 and 320. It is the most frequented floor by advanced players in search of progression items.

Recommended level: 270 to 320 Minimum recommended defense: 600+ Minimum recommended HP: 3,500+

Nota: The Death Knight on floor 6 (a monster — not the DK player class) is an elite enemy with semi-boss behavior: it has high HP, fast attacks, and can chase the character over long distances. It is one of the primary sources for level 11+ Excellent item drops on this floor.

Strategy by Class — Floor 6

Blade Knight / Blade Master:
→ Combo: Slash → Twisting Slash → Rageful Blow to clear groups
→ Position in the center of corridors to maximize AoE coverage
→ Minimum 600 defense to absorb Hell Rider hits without excessive potion use

Soul Master / Grand Master:
→ Soul Barrier reduces incoming damage by ~30% — keep it active at all times
→ Lightning Shock and Ice Storm perform well in closed corridors
→ Maintain distance from Death Knights (melee-range attackers); kite with skills

Muse Elf / High Elf:
→ Multishot and Penetration eliminate groups quickly in linear corridors
→ Position at room entrances to avoid being surrounded
→ Heal and Defense/Attack Increase buffs boost party efficiency by ~20%

Duel Master (MG):
→ No Wing L1 and no evolution quests, but combines STR+ENE in the build
→ Cyclone and Lightning Orb work well in enclosed spaces
→ High AGI helps dodge Dark Knight attacks

Lord Emperor (DL):
→ Fire Burst and charisma abilities for crowd control
→ High CMD stat increases Dark Horse resistance — ideal for tanking in party
→ DL Aura provides attack/defense bonus to the entire party within range
Dica: Forming a party of 3 to 5 players on floor 6 increases EXP per hour by 30–50% compared to solo (MU Online S6 party bonus). The ideal composition is: 1 tank BK/BM, 1 support HE, 1 magical DPS GM, and 1 physical DPS DM or LE.

Floor 7 — Lost Tower 7

Requirements and Context

Floor 7 is the final and most dangerous floor of Lost Tower. Monsters have the highest HP, damage and resistance values in the entire map. Poorly equipped characters die in 2 to 3 hits. In return, the drops are the best in the tower, including rare Jewels and Ancient set pieces from top-tier progression sets.

Recommended level: 320+ Minimum recommended defense: 900+ Minimum recommended HP: 5,000+ Recommended equipment: +11 or higher, preferably with Excellent or Ancient options

Mutant12045,000600–720350–430NeutralFrontal Cone AoE24,000
Atenção: The Dark Succubus continuously drains Mana when attacking — approximately 150–200 Mana per hit. Classes that depend on magical skills (DW/GM, Summoner/Dimension Master) need high Mana regeneration or Large Mana Potions in large quantities. Without Mana, the Grand Master's Soul Barrier becomes inactive, exposing the character to full damage from surrounding monsters.
Atenção: The Mutant has a frontal cone attack (AoE) that simultaneously hits multiple characters in the same direction. In a party, avoid stacking members on the same line of sight as the Mutant — spread the group laterally.

Nota: The Jewel of Creation obtained on floor 7 is an essential ingredient for crafting a Wing Level 3 at the Chaos Machine. The full Wing L3 recipe is: Wing L2 + 3x Loch's Feather + Jewel of Creation. Loch's Feathers are only obtained from boss Balgass in Crywolf — and only when the Crywolf event fails. The Jewel of Creation is also dropped by Kundun (Kalima 7), Nightmare (Kanturu 3) and Selupan (Raklion).

Access Route and Navigation

Access to the upper floors is exclusively sequential — there are no direct portals to floors 5, 6 or 7 from the main cities. The standard route is:

Lorencia or Noria
→ NPC Archangel Michael ("Move" option)
→ Lost Tower 4
→ Internal staircase LT4 → LT5
→ Internal staircase LT5 → LT6
→ Internal staircase LT6 → LT7
Dica: If you die on floor 7 and need to return quickly, use the NPC Archangel's "Move" system to return to LT4 and climb via the staircases again. On servers that provide Scrolls of Town Portal, they allow an immediate return to the city for potion resupply without losing map access.

ItemPurposePriority
Large Complex Potion (HP)Fast life recoveryEssential on all floors
Large Complex Potion (MP)Mana recoveryEssential for DW/GM and Summoner
AntidoteCures poison (floor 5)High priority on LT5
Scroll of Town PortalFast return to cityHighly recommended on LT7
Jewel of GuardianPrevent item drop on deathUseful for characters with valuable gear
Dica: Items with Excellent options for HP regeneration (+HP per recovery cycle) or Mana regeneration (+Mana per cycle) drastically reduce Potion consumption during extended farming on floors 6 and 7. Prioritize these attributes when building your tower equipment set — a character with high regeneration can farm much longer without interruptions.

Nota: To activate the full bonus of an Ancient set, you must equip all pieces of the set (typically 6 to 7 pieces: helmet, armor, pants, gloves, boots, and shield or weapon). The bonus of each individual piece is active when worn alone — but the full set bonus only activates with the complete set equipped.

Conclusion

Floors 5, 6 and 7 of Lost Tower are fundamental destinations for equipment progression in MU Online S6. Floor 5 serves as a transition and adaptation point to high-level content; floor 6 offers the best balance between risk and reward for most advanced players; and floor 7 is reserved for the best-prepared characters, being one of the main sources of top-tier Ancient sets and rare Jewels essential for crafting Level 3 Wings.

Mastering these floors requires not only adequate level and equipment, but knowledge of monster attack patterns, strategic positioning, and constant awareness of debuffs — especially on floor 7, where Stun, Mana Drain and Bleeding combined can eliminate unprepared characters in seconds.
