Overview of Dungeon Floor 2

Dungeon Floor 2 (2F) is the intermediate tier of the underground complex in MU Online Season 6. While Floor 1 serves as the entry point for beginners, Floor 2 demands characters with solid equipment and well-distributed attribute points — monsters here deal significantly more damage and have higher HP and defense.

Access to Floor 2 is exclusively through the internal portal on Dungeon 1F, at approximately (120, 120) on the Floor 1 map. There is no direct entry from Lorencia to Floor 2 — players must traverse Floor 1 first. No Zen cost or special item is required for the floor transition.

Nota: Dungeon 2F is designed for the level 50 to 80 range. Characters above level 80 should consider moving to Dungeon Floor 3 or maps like Atlans and Tarkan, which offer superior EXP and drops for that progression stage.

Gorgon724,200280 – 3601651,520Stone
Atenção: The Gorgon has the Petrify ability — an attack that can immobilize the character for 2 to 4 seconds, leaving it completely vulnerable. Characters with low AGI have a higher chance of being affected. Always prioritize killing the Gorgon first in mixed groups.

Nota: The Death Knight is the most valuable monster on Floor 2 in terms of drops. It has the highest HP and defense on the floor, but the reward in Jewels and level 7–10 items makes the extra effort worthwhile.

Dica: Dungeon Floor 2 has one of the best Jewel of Bless and Jewel of Soul drop rates for the level 50–70 range in MU Online S6. If your goal is accumulating Jewels for equipment upgrades at the Chaos Goblin, this floor outperforms Lost Tower 1–2 in drops per farming hour.

Excellent Items

Death Knight and Gorgon can drop items with Excellent options. The most common options on this floor are:

Excellent OptionFrequency
Increase Maximum Life (Max HP +%)Medium
Increase Maximum Mana (Max MP +%)Medium
Excellent Damage Rate (chance for excellent damage)Low
Increase Attack Speed (+7 attack speed)Low
Reflect Damage (reflects a portion of damage taken)Very Low
Atenção: Excellent items on Floor 2 rarely appear with two or more simultaneous options. Most Excellent drops will have only one active option. Items with 2+ Excellent options carry significant trade value — evaluate before selling to NPCs.

Best Farm Spots

Dungeon Floor 2 features a layout with narrow corridors and larger rooms. Understanding spawn concentrations is essential to maximizing EXP/hour and drops.

Spot 1 — Skeleton Corridor (Coordinates ~30–60, 20–55)

Monsters: Skeleton Warrior + Skeleton Archer
Estimated EXP/hour (level 50-60): High
Estimated Zen/hour: Medium-High
Best for: DK (Twisting Slash), DW (Chain Lightning), Elf (Multi-Shot)

Dense Skeleton spawn corridor. Respawn cycle is approximately 45 seconds per group — slightly slower than Floor 1, but EXP per kill is substantially higher.

Recommended rotation:

Starting position (35, 30)
→ Clear north pack — 4 Skeleton Warriors
→ Move to (55, 25) — pack of 3 Skeleton Archers
→ Return to (35, 45) — second Warriors group
→ Back to start — respawn complete
→ Repeat cycle

Spot 2 — Spider Room (Coordinates ~70–110, 40–75)

Monsters: Hell Spider (groups of 5–9)
Estimated EXP/hour (level 50-65): Medium-High
Estimated Zen/hour: Medium
Best for: DW (Chain Lightning), Summoner (Decay), Elf (Multi-Shot)

Hell Spiders cluster in enclosed rooms with high density. A Dark Wizard with Chain Lightning (requires ENE 150 for peak efficiency at level 50+) clears entire groups in a few casts. Poison risk is constant — always carry Antidotes.

Dica: A Summoner with Decay at Spot 2 can be surprisingly strong. Decay's damage-over-time stacks across all targets simultaneously, and Evil Spirit adds burst damage. With ENE above 200, the Summoner can outperform a same-level DW at this specific spot.

Spot 3 — Poison Bull Fighter Area (Coordinates ~115–155, 60–95)

Monsters: Poison Bull Fighter + Thunder Lich
Estimated EXP/hour (level 60-75): High
Estimated Zen/hour: High
Best for: DK with high VIT (HP > 1,500), MG, DL with active pet

Best balance of EXP/hour and Jewel drops on Floor 2. The combination of Poison Bull Fighters (melee) and Thunder Liches (ranged magic) requires at least DEF 150 and HP above 1,200 to survive comfortably.

Atenção: Thunder Lich deals magic damage that partially bypasses physical defense. DK and MG players who rely on physical DEF should have at least 80 VIT points allocated (approximately 1,600 HP at level 60) to avoid dying in 2–3 consecutive Lich hits.

Spot 4 — Death Knight Territory (Coordinates ~155–190, 80–120)

Monsters: Death Knight (sparse spawn, 3–5 per area)
Estimated EXP/hour (level 65-80): Medium
Estimated Zen/hour: Very High (best Zen/kill on the floor)
Best for: characters with high damage and solid defense, Jewel hunters

The Death Knight is the toughest mob on Floor 2 and also the most profitable. Each kill yields an average of 3,500 to 8,000 Zen (standard S6 settings), plus the highest Jewel of Bless, Life, and Chaos rates on the floor. Sparse spawn limits EXP/hour, but Zen and Jewel income exceed any other spot on 2F.

Recommended Death Knight rotation:

Identify 4–5 fixed spawn points in area (155–190, 80–120)
→ Kill Death Knight at point A
→ Move to point B (respawn ~90 seconds per point)
→ Move to point C
→ Move to point D
→ Return to point A — Death Knight has respawned
→ Repeat cycle

Spot 5 — Gorgon Chamber (Coordinates ~170–200, 110–145)

Monsters: Gorgon + Death Knight (mixed)
Estimated EXP/hour (level 68-80): High
Estimated Zen/hour: High
Best for: DW, Elf, Summoner, ranged DL (maintain distance to avoid Petrify)

Combines Death Knight EXP and drops with unique Gorgon drops (high-level Scale Armor and occasional Excellent items). Ranged classes maintain enough distance to avoid the Gorgon's Petrify while dealing consistent damage.

Class Guide — Dungeon Floor 2

Dark Knight (DK) / Blade Knight

Recommended LevelMinimum StatsCore SkillsBest Spot
50 – 80STR 200, AGI 50, VIT 80Twisting Slash, ComboSpot 1 and Spot 3

DK should prioritize VIT to survive magic damage from Thunder Liches. Twisting Slash (melee cone AoE) excels at clearing dense groups in Spot 1. After evolving to Blade Knight (1st Quest + level 150), the Combo (Slash → Twisting Slash → Rageful Blow) becomes the primary damage tool.

Dark Wizard (DW) / Soul Master

Recommended LevelMinimum StatsCore SkillsBest Spot
50 – 80ENE 200, VIT 40Chain Lightning, Meteorite, TwisterSpot 2 and Spot 5

DW dominates Floor 2 with Chain Lightning (ENE 150, level 53) hitting multiple targets in a chain. Soul Barrier reduces damage taken by 15–25% based on ENE — essential for survival. Use Teleport to escape the Gorgon's Petrify and approaching Poison Bull Fighters.

Fairy Elf / Muse Elf

Recommended LevelMinimum StatsCore SkillsBest Spot
50 – 78AGI 200, ENE 60Multi-Shot, Triple Shot, PenetrationSpot 1 and Spot 2

Elf with Penetration (requires AGI 180, level 55) pierces multiple enemies in a straight line — highly effective in the narrow corridors of Spot 1. In Spot 2, Multi-Shot clears Hell Spider groups quickly. Always keep Defense (self-buff) active to compensate for the class's naturally low VIT.

Magic Gladiator (MG) / Duel Master

Recommended LevelMinimum StatsCore SkillsBest Spot
50 – 80STR 180, ENE 150Cyclone, Electric SparkSpot 3 and Spot 4

The MG has no 1st or 2nd Quest — no quest-progression restriction for using Floor 2. Electric Spark (ENE 150, level 80) deals electric damage in an area, efficient against groups. The combination of mobility and mixed damage output makes MG one of the most versatile classes on 2F.

Dark Lord (DL) / Lord Emperor

Recommended LevelMinimum StatsCore SkillsBest Spot
50 – 80STR 150, ENE 100, CMD 60Fireburst, Chaotic Diseier, Fire ScreamSpot 3 and Spot 5

The DL uses the exclusive CMD (Command) stat to empower the Dark Raven pet. With CMD 60+, the Dark Raven deals auxiliary damage on every DL attack, significantly increasing kill speed. Fire Scream (cone AoE) is efficient against Poison Bull Fighter groups.

Summoner / Bloody Summoner

Recommended LevelMinimum StatsCore SkillsBest Spot
50 – 78ENE 220, AGI 50, VIT 50Decay, Evil Spirit, Drain LifeSpot 2 and Spot 3

Drain Life provides excellent sustain on Floor 2, recovering HP as it deals damage. Decay applied to multiple targets simultaneously and Evil Spirit for burst make the Summoner a strong solo farming choice. Keep ENE high — all core Summoner skills scale directly with ENE.

Comparison: Dungeon Floor 2 vs. Equivalent-Level Maps

For characters in the level 50–80 range, several alternatives exist to Dungeon 2F:

MapLevel RangeEXP/hourZen/hourJewel DropsAccess
Dungeon 2F50 – 80HighHighGood (Bless + Soul)Via Dungeon 1F
Lost Tower 3F–4F55 – 75Medium-HighMediumModerateVia Lost Tower
Atlans 1F70 – 90HighHighGoodPortal in Noria
Devias (north)45 – 65MediumMediumLowDirect access
Nota: Dungeon 2F stands out in the 55–70 range for combining high monster density with solid Jewel of Bless drop rates — the most sought-after Jewel at this stage for equipment upgrades at the Chaos Goblin. Above level 75, Atlans 1F begins to outpace Dungeon 2F in EXP/hour.

Efficiency Strategies

Dica: Poison from Hell Spider and Poison Bull Fighter is more dangerous than on Floor 1. Carry at least 20 Antidote Potions per session. The Fairy Elf can cast Recover to remove poison from party members at no mana cost — a support Elf significantly improves group survival at Spots 2 and 3.

Optimal Farming Cycle

1. Enter Dungeon via the Lorencia portal (122, 135)
2. Cross Floor 1 and use the Floor 2 portal (~120, 120)
3. Head to your primary spot (see spot table above)
4. Execute the kill cycle per the spot's recommended rotation
5. Every 15–25 minutes, return to Floor 1 → Lorencia to sell items
6. Repeat the cycle
Nota: Inventory fills quickly on Floor 2 due to the high volume of level 5–9 armor and weapon drops. Immediately sell worthless set pieces (Bronze/Leather without Excellent or Ancient options) and reserve slots for Jewels, Excellent items, and level 8+ gear.

Ideal Party Composition

EXP bonus in MU Online S6 party can reach +30% for a 5-member group, split equally among members on the same screen. Recommended Floor 2 composition:

  • 1 DK or MG — main tank and melee DPS
  • 1 DW or Summoner — ranged AoE DPS
  • 1 Fairy Elf — support: Heal, Defense buff, Recover (removes Poison from allies)

Transition to Dungeon Floor 3

When a character reaches approximately level 75 to 80, EXP from Floor 2 monsters begins to decrease. Dungeon Floor 3 (3F) is accessed via the internal portal on Floor 2 at approximately (130, 130), featuring monsters between level 75 and 100, level 9–12 item drops, and a chance at Ancient Set items at low frequency. No additional cost is required for the transition.
