What is Raklion?

Raklion is one of the high-level maps introduced in MU Online Season 6, set in an arid and hostile region dominated by reptilian and insectoid creatures. The map is divided into areas called Hatcheries — zones filled with monster eggs that form the map's core mechanic. Raklion is not simply a farming zone: it is home to the boss Selupan, one of the most powerful creatures in S6 and a source of extremely rare items.

Nota: Raklion belongs to the group of Season 6 high-level maps, alongside Vulcanus and Acheron. The map requires a character at minimum level 380 to access.

Entry Requirements

RequirementValue
Minimum level380
Mandatory questYes (unlocked via Quest Master)
Recommended gear+11 set or higher with excellent options
Suggested minimum stats (DK)800 STR / 300 AGI / 300 VIT
Suggested minimum stats (DW)200 STR / 200 AGI / 800 ENE

The map access quest requires the character to have completed the third class evolution quests, meaning they must be at least a Blade Knight, Soul Master, Muse Elf, Duel Master, Lord Emperor, or Bloody Summoner.

Atenção: Magic Gladiator (MG) and Dark Lord (DL) characters have a different progression path. The MG does not complete the traditional 1st and 2nd evolution quests but still needs to reach level 380 to access Raklion. Dark Lords use the CMD stat in addition to the four standard stats (STR, AGI, VIT, ENE).

Map Zones and Layout

Raklion is structured into distinct regions, each with varying monster density and egg concentration:

Dica: Raklion monsters have high elemental damage resistance. Dark Wizard characters should prioritize balanced physical-magical abilities. Summoners using Death Poison see reduced effectiveness due to Drakan Lizards' poison resistance.

Egg of Darkness Mechanics

The Eggs of Darkness are destructible structures scattered throughout the map that function as secondary spawn points. Each egg destroyed:

Egg destroyed → Immediate spawn of 2–4 additional monsters
All eggs in zone destroyed → Zone EXP bonus activated (30 min)
All eggs on the map destroyed → Activates Selupan spawn condition

This mechanic encourages organized groups to systematically clear each zone before advancing. Attempting to fight Selupan without destroying all eggs is extremely difficult — the boss has accelerated HP regeneration while any Egg of Darkness remains intact.

The Boss: Selupan

Selupan is the massive spider-dragon that inhabits the Central Sanctuary of Raklion. It is considered one of the hardest bosses in MU Online Season 6, requiring large, well-equipped groups.

Selupan Stats

AttributeValue
HP~18,000,000
Physical defense~3,200
Magic defense~2,800
Poison resistance85%
Ice resistance60%
Lightning resistance50%
Boss level140
Respawn timer12 hours after death

Selupan Abilities

Poison Web: Selupan launches an area poison web covering a 7-tile radius. Deals continuous damage of ~2,000 HP/second for 10 seconds. Characters without elevated poison resistance suffer the full effect.

Dark Binding: Area slow ability that reduces movement speed by 70% for 5 seconds. Affects all characters within a 5-tile radius.

Venom Strike: Long-range physical attack dealing combined physical + poison damage. Estimated base damage formula: Boss_STR × 4.2 - Target_DEF. Can one-shot characters with insufficient VIT.

Egg Summon: When Selupan reaches 50% HP, it summons 6–10 additional Raklion Guards in the Sanctuary. Groups must be prepared to handle the adds while maintaining DPS on the boss.

Atenção: Selupan's Poison Web partially bypasses characters' base poison resistance. Even with high resistance, it is recommended to maintain high SD (Shield) and have an Elf actively providing healing support throughout the entire fight.
Ideal composition (minimum 8 players):
→ 2–3 DK (Blade Knight/Blade Master): front tank, primary aggro
→ 1–2 Elf (High Elf): life support (Life Swelling) + ATK/DEF buffs
→ 2–3 DW (Grand Master): ranged magic DPS
→ 1 MG or DL: additional DPS and add control
→ 1 Summoner (optional): debuff and support

Combat phases:
Phase 1 (100%–50% HP) → Constant DPS, Elf maintains active healing
Phase 2 (50%–0% HP) → Adds summoned, aggro split required
Dica: Dark Lords with a high CMD stat are valuable in the Selupan fight. The Command ability increases the ATK of nearby allied characters proportionally to the DL's CMD stat. A DL with 400+ CMD can increase overall group DPS by up to 15%.

Selupan Drops

Selupan is one of the three sources of the Jewel of Creation in MU Online S6, alongside Kundun (Kalima 7) and Nightmare (Kanturu 3). This jewel is an essential component for crafting Wings Level 3.

Drop Table

ItemEstimated drop rateNotes
Jewel of Creation~15–25%Critical item for Wing L3 crafting
Jewel of Chaos~40%Common drop
Jewel of Life~35%Common drop
Box of Kundun +5~10%Contains high-level items
Excellent items level 12–15~20–30%Top-tier sets and weapons
Ancient Items~5–8%Sets like Hyon, Ceto, Aruan (DK)
Nota: The Jewel of Creation obtained from Selupan, Kundun, and Nightmare is the same item. There are no quality variants. One Wing Level 3 requires: 1x Wing Level 2 + 3x Loch's Feather + 1x Jewel of Creation in the Chaos Goblin combination.

Wings Level 3 and the Raklion Connection

Raklion's importance extends beyond EXP farming. Selupan is a direct source of one of the three components required for Wing L3 crafting:

Wing Level 3 components:
→ Wing Level 2 (already owned by the character)
→ 3x Loch's Feather (dropped by Balgass when Crywolf FAILS)
→ 1x Jewel of Creation (from Selupan / Kundun / Nightmare)

Combination:
Wing L2 + 3x Loch's Feather + JoCreation → Chaos Goblin → Wing L3
Success rate: ~50% (varies by server)
Atenção: The Loch's Feather only drops from the boss Balgass in Crywolf Fortress, and only when the Crywolf event fails (i.e., the monsters succeed in destroying the Altar of Yurn). If Crywolf is successfully defended, Balgass does not appear and no Loch's Feather drops in that round.

Regular Monster Drops

Beyond Selupan, Raklion's regular monsters are valuable sources of jewels and items:

Dica: For characters who have just reached level 380, Vulcanus is a good entry point before Raklion. EXP in Raklion is superior, but the minimum gear requirement is significantly higher.

Efficient Farming Tips in Raklion

  1. Prioritize egg zones: Destroying Eggs of Darkness first secures the zone EXP bonus and prevents surprise spawns that interrupt farming rotations.
  1. Positioning is critical: Stone Giants of Raklion have area-of-effect attacks. Never cluster multiple Stone Giants in a tight space without a dedicated tank.
  1. Poison resistance: Invest in items with poison resistance options. The DoT (Damage over Time) from Drakan Lizards can drain potions rapidly.
  1. Selupan coordination: The boss has a 12-hour respawn. Guilds organize fixed groups and track reset timers to maximize Jewel of Creation drops.
  1. Support Elf is mandatory: Without the High Elf's life buff and active healing, the death rate during Selupan combat increases dramatically, especially in Phase 2 when adds are summoned.
