MU Online currencies: Zen, Ruud, WCoin and Goblin Points
Zen, Ruud, WCoin and Goblin Points: understand each MU Online currency, what they're for and how to get them.
MU Online has several currencies, each with its role. Confusing them gets in the way — so here's what each one is.
The currencies
| Currency | What it is | How to get it |
|---|---|---|
| Zen | Game's base currency | Killing monsters, selling items |
| Ruud | Event currency (modern seasons) | Events and specific maps |
| WCoin | Classic shop credit | Events, site, donations* |
| Goblin Points | Another shop credit | Events, site |
\*Here, "donation/credit" is treated only as a configurable game mechanic — not a sale of services.
What they're for
- Zen: buy potions, repair, trade;
- Ruud: buy special items at its own NPCs (modern seasons);
- WCoin/Goblin Points: acquire items in the server's Cash Shop.
Tips
- Don't waste Zen — save it for potions and deals;
- Gather Ruud in events for the special NPC items;
- Use shop credits with judgment (focus on convenience, not pay-to-win);
- Know your server's currencies before planning.
