Why Start Farming in Lorencia

Lorencia is the starting map in MU Online S6 and the perfect place to build your foundation before advancing to more dangerous areas. Unlike what many beginners assume, you can't just arrive in Lorencia and attack any monster at random — there is a logical progression of spots that maximizes experience per hour and the return on items and Zen.

This guide covers all relevant Lorencia monsters, recommended starter builds for each class, and a step-by-step roadmap to take you from level 1 to level 50 without wasted time.

Nota: Lorencia is the safest map in the game. All monsters here are low level and the risk of dying is minimal if you maintain adequate VIT for your class. It is the ideal place to learn the controls and farming mechanics of MU Online.

Lorencia Monsters: Progression Order

Level 1-10: Spider and Small Bull Fighter

When you create your character, start attacking Spiders scattered across the south area of Lorencia, approximately at coordinates 120-140 x 120-140. They have only 30-50 HP, die in one or two hits, and drop small Zen amounts (50-200 each) and Antidotes.

After reaching level 6-8, move to Small Bull Fighters in the northeast region of Lorencia, around coordinates 135-155 x 90-110. They have around 150-200 HP and begin dropping level 1-3 equipment.

Early progression:
Level 1 → Attack Spider (south Lorencia, ~120x130)
Level 6 → Move to Small Bull Fighter (~145x100)
Level 10 → Evaluate HP and damage before advancing

Level 10-30: Bull Fighter and Hound

The standard Bull Fighter is the most important monster in Lorencia for beginners. They concentrate in the central-east area of the map, at approximately coordinates 160-180 x 100-120, forming dense groups that allow area-of-effect farming.

Bull Fighter attributes:

  • HP: 400-600
  • Attack: 18-26 physical
  • Drops: Zen (200-800), level 3-7 items, occasional Jewel of Bless

At the same time, Hounds (dogs) roam the west area of Lorencia, around coordinates 100-120 x 110-130. They have similar HP to Bull Fighters but are slightly faster. They are a solid alternative when the Bull Fighter area is occupied by other players.

Dica: If you are a Dark Knight, use the Slash skill (requires 20 base ENE) to hit multiple Bull Fighters at once. With two or three monsters per swing, experience per hour doubles compared to single-target attacks.

Level 30-50: Lich and Elite Bull Fighter

From level 30 onward, the Lichs in the north area of Lorencia, at coordinates 130-150 x 60-80, become the priority target. They have more HP (800-1200) and magic resistance, but drop level 5-9 items more frequently and higher Zen (500-1500 per drop).

Elite Bull Fighters appear scattered across the map and are stronger versions of the standard Bull Fighter. They have an increased chance to drop items with options (such as "+Luck" or "+Skill"), making them valuable for players who want to equip their character without relying on trading.

Atenção: Avoid the Dark Knight NPCs that patrol the edges of Lorencia. They are far above the level of other map monsters and can kill characters below level 50 in one or two hits. If you see one approaching, move away immediately.

Starter Builds by Class

Your stat distribution at the start of the game defines how smooth your progression in Lorencia will be. Here are the recommended distributions for each class up to level 50.

Dark Knight (DK) — Starter Build

The DK is the simplest class for beginners farming Lorencia thanks to high base HP and the ability to equip heavy armor from early on.

Recommended distribution (level 1 to 50):
- STR: top priority (put 3-4 points per level)
- VIT: secondary (1-2 points per level for survivability)
- AGI: minimum required to equip armor (~30 total)
- ENE: zero until level 50

Example at level 30:
STR: 80, AGI: 30, VIT: 40, ENE: 0

Example at level 50:
STR: 130, AGI: 30, VIT: 70, ENE: 0
Dica: The DK does not need ENE to use basic skills like Slash. Completely ignore the ENE stat until you have a defined end-game build.

Dark Wizard (DW) — Starter Build

The DW relies on ENE to deal damage with spells. In Lorencia, playstyle changes completely: you stay at range and use Energy Ball (default skill, no base ENE required) or Lightning (requires 150 ENE, accessible from level 1 with investment).

Recommended distribution (level 1 to 50):
- ENE: top priority (4-5 points per level)
- VIT: secondary (1-2 points per level)
- STR/AGI: only the minimum to equip base items (~20 STR, ~10 AGI)

Example at level 30:
STR: 20, AGI: 10, VIT: 30, ENE: 120

Example at level 50:
STR: 20, AGI: 10, VIT: 50, ENE: 220

Fairy Elf — Starter Build

The Elf deals physical damage via bow and is excellent for farming Lorencia by killing monsters at range safely. Prioritize AGI to increase attack speed and bow damage.

Recommended distribution (level 1 to 50):
- AGI: top priority (4 points per level)
- STR: enough to equip your current bow (varies by bow)
- VIT: 1 point per level to avoid dying unexpectedly
- ENE: zero until level 50 (Elf buffs only become relevant later)

Example at level 30:
STR: 30, AGI: 80, VIT: 30, ENE: 0

Example at level 50:
STR: 40, AGI: 140, VIT: 50, ENE: 0

Magic Gladiator (MG)

The MG is available from the start without any class-change quests. It is a hybrid that uses both physical attacks and magic. For Lorencia, the most efficient path is focusing on STR early.

Recommended distribution (level 1 to 50):
- STR: top priority (3 points per level)
- ENE: secondary (2 points per level to unlock skills)
- AGI: minimum to equip (~20)
- VIT: 1 point per level

Example at level 50:
STR: 100, AGI: 20, VIT: 50, ENE: 80
Nota: The Magic Gladiator has no 1st or 2nd class-change Quest — it starts directly in its second form. This means it gains stat points faster than other classes early on, making level-up rewards more impactful from the beginning.

You do not need elaborate equipment to farm Lorencia efficiently. The focus should be on items that are easy to obtain and keep your character alive while dealing sufficient damage.

Dark Knight

  • Weapon: Blade (+0 to +3) or Short Sword (+0 to +2) — common drops in Lorencia
  • Armor: Full Leather Armor Set (+0) — provides sufficient defense for Lorencia
  • Accessories: Any ring or necklace with +HP or +Mana found on the ground

Dark Wizard

  • Weapon: Skull Staff (+0 to +3) — frequent drops from Lichs
  • Armor: Pad Armor Set (+0) — lightweight with adequate mana bonus
  • Accessories: Any necklace with +ENE or +Mana to maximize spell damage

Fairy Elf

  • Weapon: Short Bow (+0 to +3) or Bow (+0 to +2) with sufficient Arrows in inventory
  • Armor: Vine Armor Set (+0) — base Elf armor, easy to obtain
  • Accessories: Ring with +AGI or +Damage for bows
Atenção: Do not try to use the Chaos Machine to upgrade equipment below +4 before having sufficient Jewels. The failure chance destroys the item completely below +4 without the proper Jewel of Chaos. Save your Jewels until you have level 7+ equipment.

Step-by-Step Roadmap: Level 1 to 50 in Lorencia

STEP 1 — Character Creation (Level 1)
→ Choose your class
→ Distribute first points according to your class build above
→ Equip the starting item received when creating the character

STEP 2 — Spider Grind (Level 1-6)
→ Go to the south area of Lorencia (coordinates ~120x130)
→ Kill Spiders until level 6
→ Collect all dropped Zen (don't ignore small amounts)

STEP 3 — Small Bull Fighter (Level 6-15)
→ Move to the northeast area (~145x100)
→ Kill Small Bull Fighters in groups when possible
→ Save dropped level 3+ items to equip or sell at the NPC

STEP 4 — Central Bull Fighter (Level 15-30)
→ Central-east area (~165x110)
→ Use area skills if available for your class
→ Goal: accumulate at least 500,000 Zen before advancing

STEP 5 — Lich + Elite Bull Fighter (Level 30-50)
→ Rotate between Lichs (north, ~140x70) and Elite Bull Fighters
→ Prioritize items with options to equip or trade
→ Upon reaching level 50, evaluate whether to move to Noria or Devias

STEP 6 — Lorencia Exit Decision (Level 50)
→ If your build is solid: go to Noria (level 40-70 monsters)
→ If equipment is still weak: stay in Lorencia until level 60
→ Never stay in Lorencia past level 70 — experience gain drops too much

Final Efficient Farming Tips

Organize your inventory before each farm session. Clear your inventory leaving at least 20 free slots. Useless items should be sold at the NPC before each session — a full inventory forces you to stop mid-farm to manage items.

Use potions smartly. Buy Small Healing Potions from the Lorencia NPC (cost: 30-50 Zen each). Carry 30-50 potions per session. With adequate VIT, you should not need more than 10-15 per hour in Lorencia.

Farm in a party when possible. Farming with a friend increases EXP per hour through the party bonus. A Fairy Elf with a Dark Knight is the most efficient combination: the DK tanks while the Elf deals damage at range.

Dica: If you find an item with Excellent options (golden glow), do not sell it to the NPC. Excellent items have high trade value with other players and can yield Jewels or much better equipment than the NPC price.

Do not neglect the starter quests. MU Online S6 has progression quests that reward bonus EXP and items. Check the quest NPC in Lorencia regularly to see if missions are available for your current level.

With this roadmap and the correct builds, you will be ready to leave Lorencia at level 50-60 with decent equipment and enough Zen to advance to Noria and Devias without difficulty.

Perguntas frequentes

What is the best monster to farm in Lorencia as a beginner?

Bull Fighters (level 18-22) in the central area of Lorencia offer the best efficiency for characters between level 1 and 30, consistently dropping Zen and low-level items like swords and shields with basic options.

How much STR do I need to kill Bull Fighters easily with a Dark Knight?

With 40 STR and basic equipment (+0 no options) you can already kill Bull Fighters without difficulty. Prioritize VIT so you don't die — 20 VIT gives enough HP to survive two or three hits.

Is there a level cap for efficient farming in Lorencia?

Yes. Lorencia loses efficiency after level 40-45. From there, monsters in Noria and Devias give significantly more EXP per hour. Don't stay in Lorencia past level 50 or you'll waste valuable farm time.

What should I do with the Zen dropped in Lorencia?

Save at least 100,000 Zen to buy basic items from the Lorencia NPC and to use the Chaos Machine for the first time. Excess Zen can be traded with other players for Jewel of Bless or Jewel of Soul to upgrade equipment.
