Lord Emperor Full CMD Build: Dark Lord with Maximum Commands

Introduction: Why Play Full CMD?

The Dark Lord is the only class in MU Online S6 that has the CMD (Command/Charisma) attribute. This stat controls the maximum number of summoned creatures, the power of the Dark Horse, Dark Raven damage, and the effectiveness of abilities like Fire Burst and Electric Spike. The Full CMD build sacrifices some direct physical damage to transform the DL into a war general, with multiple summons destroying everything around you while you position safely.

This build is ideal for PvM farming in high-level areas like Tarkan, Aida, Karutan, and Vulcanus, where having 4-5 creatures attacking simultaneously drastically reduces kill times.

Stat Distribution by Level Range

Level 1 to 150 (Early Phase)

In this phase, the goal is to reach the minimum STR to equip basic DL weapons and armor, with everything else going into CMD.

Level 150 to 400 (Mid Phase — Post 1st and 2nd Quest)

After completing the 1st Quest (level 150) and 2nd Quest (level 220), you unlock advanced skills. Continue prioritizing CMD.

Level 400 (Lord Emperor — Post 3rd Quest)

From level 400 onward, after completing the 3rd Quest and becoming Lord Emperor, you gain access to the full skill set. The ideal endgame distribution is:

Level 400 — Full CMD Lord Emperor Build:
→ STR:  250  (equip Shining Scepter +13 and Volcano Set)
→ AGI:  100  (minimum defense and speed)
→ VIT:  150  (survival in Vulcanus/Acheron)
→ ENE:  30   (base)
→ CMD:  870+ (maximum possible with all remaining points)

Armor

The armor progression for the DL follows this order:

Bronze Set → Leather Set → Scale Set → Dark Steel Set → Volcano Set → Dark Master Set

Recommended endgame: Volcano Set +11 to +13 with Excellent options for:

• Increase maximum HP (survivability boost)
• Excellent Damage Rate (increases excellent hit chance)
• Defense Increase (extra defense for Vulcanus)

Scepter (Main Weapon)

Shield

Use the Dragon Shield +9 to +11 with the Increase Blocking Rate option. The DL has a naturally high blocking rate with moderate AGI, and a good shield can block 30-40% of physical attacks.

Wings

DL wing progression:
→ Level 1-150:   No wings or basic cloak
→ Level 150-220: Cape of Lord (obtained at DL's 1st Quest)
→ Level 220-400: Wing of Storm (DL L2 Wing)
→ Level 400+:    Wing of Storm +9 to +11 (upgraded L2 Wing)
→ Endgame:       Dark Vintage Cloak (DL L3 Wing)

Pets

• Dark Horse: Essential. Mounts and attacks alongside you. Damage scales with CMD.
• Dark Raven: DL's second pet. Attacks automatically and deals CMD-based damage.
• Fenrir: Alternative mount to Dark Horse. When riding Fenrir, the Dark Horse can freely attack as an independent creature, maximizing total DPS.

Phase 1: Lorencia and Noria (Level 1 to 80)

• Lorencia (Goblin): coordinates 123,133 — excellent for levels 1-30
• Lorencia (Budge Dragon): coordinates 148,145 — levels 25-50
• Noria (Hommerd + Agon): entire map — levels 50-80

Phase 2: Dungeon and Lost Tower (Level 80 to 180)

• Dungeon 1 (Skeleton Warrior + Skeleton Archer): levels 80-120
• Lost Tower 3-4 (Scream + Death Angel): levels 120-160
• Lost Tower 6-7 (Blaze Napin + Death Napin): levels 160-200

→ Aida 2 (Death Tree, Aegis): intensive EXP farming
→ Karutan 1 (Orcus, Gollock): frequent Excellent items
→ Vulcanus (Genocider, Death Rider): highest EXP in S6

Priority Skills for Lord Emperor

The DL has a limited skill set compared to other classes, but each skill has a specific role:

PvM Combat Rotation

For efficient solo farming in Aida or Karutan:

Standard Full CMD Rotation — Solo Farming:
1. Summon Dark Horse and Dark Raven (always active)
2. Position in the center of the mob group
3. Use Fire Burst → wait for animation → Fire Burst again
4. If mobs remain at low HP → Electric Spike to finish
5. Move to next group while pets finish the rest

For boss fights or elite mobs:

Boss Rotation:
1. Mount Fenrir (frees Dark Horse to attack separately)
2. Dark Horse + Dark Raven attack automatically
3. Use Electric Spike in sequence for concentrated single-target damage
4. Maintain safe distance — you are not a tank

Dark Lord Quest Progression

The DL completes the three standard MU Online quests:

Quest 1 (Level 150):
→ Speak with Guardsman in Lorencia
→ Deliver specific items to the NPC
→ Reward: +STR/AGI/VIT/ENE/CMD base increase + new skills

Quest 2 (Level 220):
→ Kill specific quantities of mobs in Atlans/Tarkan
→ Reward: unlock of advanced skills + stat bonus

Quest 3 (Level 400):
→ Kill elite mobs in Kanturu/Kalima
→ Reward: Evolution to LORD EMPEROR + upgradeable Wing of Storm

Advanced Full CMD Tips

1. Pet management in party: In a party, position your pets to attack the mob that the tank (Blade Knight) is holding. This maximizes DPS without dispersing the Elf's healing focus.

2. Pet renewal: Dark Horse and Dark Raven die if not fed with specific items (Horse Bringer and Raven Bringer). Always carry a supply when doing long farm sessions.

3. Combining Charisma with Elf buffs: The DL's Charisma buff and High Elf's Defense buff stack. In endgame PvM parties, this combination can make the group nearly invulnerable in Aida.

4. Hotkey setup: Place Fire Burst on key Q, Electric Spike on W, and Dark Summon on E. This allows fast rotation without losing time navigating menus.
