Dimension Master Hybrid Build: Summoner with Balanced ENE and VIT

Complete guide to the Dimension Master hybrid build in MU Online S6: stat allocation by level, named farm spots, +11 gear recommendations, and skill rotation.

What Is the Dimension Master Hybrid Build?

The Dimension Master is the third and final evolution of the Summoner in MU Online S6, obtained after completing the Third Quest at level 400. The evolution chain is: Summoner → Bloody Summoner (2nd Quest) → Dimension Master (3rd Quest).

Unlike full ENE builds that bet everything on skill damage output, the hybrid build balances ENE and VIT to create a character that can farm solo in endgame maps with minimal potion consumption. The secret lies in the synergy between two factors: high ENE increases the damage — and therefore the heal — of Drain Life, while high VIT ensures you survive long enough for that healing cycle to work.

Nota: The Summoner does not need to complete the 1st and 2nd Quests to evolve — those quests are exclusive to Dark Knight, Dark Wizard, and Elf. The Dimension Master accesses the 3rd Quest directly from level 400 as a Bloody Summoner, with no prior quest prerequisites.

This build is ideal for players who want efficient solo farm in Aida, Karutan 1–2, and meaningful participation in events like Castle Siege and Chaos Castle, where survivability matters more than peak damage burst.

Stat Distribution by Level Range

Level 1–150: Building the Foundation

The goal in this phase is to reach Atlans and Lost Tower without being one-shot. ENE leads the allocation because the Summoner relies entirely on skills for damage, but VIT is necessary to survive the early maps.

Level 50 → STR 30 | AGI 20 | VIT 50 | ENE 100
Level 100 → STR 40 | AGI 25 | VIT 80 | ENE 200
Level 150 → STR 50 | AGI 30 | VIT 100 | ENE 300

Spots in this range:

  • Noria (lv 1–40): Budge Dragon, Hound — basic farm, minimal risk
  • Devias (lv 40–80): Yeti, Ice Monster — 100+ ENE kills them in 2 hits
  • Lost Tower Floors 1–2 (lv 80–150): Skeleton Warrior, Bat — solid EXP and basic Jewel drops

> [!TIP] > At level 15, equip the Small Cape of Lord if available — it drops from mobs in Noria and Lorencia and provides enough defense to ease progression until the Wing of Despair.

Level 150–300: Transition to Mid-Tier Maps

Starting in Atlans, mobs begin to deal significant damage. ENE continues to grow to maintain relevant damage output, but VIT gains real weight because Stone Golem and Death Beam Knight can one-shot a Summoner with neglected VIT.

Level 200 → STR 60 | AGI 35 | VIT 150 | ENE 450
Level 250 → STR 70 | AGI 40 | VIT 180 | ENE 580
Level 300 → STR 80 | AGI 45 | VIT 220 | ENE 700

Recommended spots:

  • Atlans Floor 2 (lv 150–200): Stone Golem, Lizard King — Drain Life heals well here; groups of 3–5 mobs make Requiem efficient
  • Tarkan (lv 220–280): Death Beam Knight, Mutant — use Requiem on groups of 4+ mobs; Death Beam Knight drops in 2–3 hits with ~500 ENE
  • Lost Tower Floors 6–7 (lv 260–300): Balgog, Death Knight — narrow corridors favor Ice Storm + Dead Raven; good Jewel of Bless and Soul drops

> [!TIP] > In Tarkan, mobs respawn in waves. Position yourself in the northern region of the map where Death Beam Knights naturally cluster — it saves travel time and maximizes Requiem usage per cycle.

Level 300–400: Pre-Master (Bloody Summoner)

Critical phase before the 3rd Quest. You are still a Bloody Summoner, but this is the window to shape the correct stat profile before evolution. Aida and Karutan 1 are the target maps.

Level 320 → STR 85 | AGI 48 | VIT 240 | ENE 770
Level 350 → STR 90 | AGI 50 | VIT 270 | ENE 850
Level 380 → STR 95 | AGI 55 | VIT 300 | ENE 940
Level 400 → STR 100 | AGI 60 | VIT 320 | ENE 1000

> [!WARNING] > Do not allocate all accumulated points before completing the 3rd Quest. After evolving to Dimension Master, you receive additional bonus points that change your planning. Save 30–40 points to adjust after the quest — prioritize ENE if damage feels insufficient or VIT if survivability is critical.

Spots in this range:

  • Aida Zone 1 (lv 300–360): Witch Queen, Dark Elf — dense groups of 6–8 mobs make Requiem extremely efficient; best position is the central-north region of the map
  • Icarus (lv 320–380): Thunder Bird, Coolutin — high mob HP favors the Drain Life sustain loop; excellent EXP per hour for Summoners with 800+ ENE
  • Karutan Floor 1 (lv 360–400): Mons, Condra — introduction to endgame; 900+ ENE required for relevant damage

Level 400+ (Dimension Master): Final Build

After completing the 3rd Quest and evolving to Dimension Master, the hybrid build matures across post-400 leveling:

Level 400 → STR 100 | AGI 60 | VIT 320 | ENE 1000
Level 450 → STR 105 | AGI 62 | VIT 360 | ENE 1100
Level 500 → STR 110 | AGI 65 | VIT 400 | ENE 1200
Level 600 → STR 115 | AGI 68 | VIT 450 | ENE 1350
Level 700 → STR 120 | AGI 70 | VIT 500 | ENE 1500
Nota: With 1000 ENE and Sphinx Set +11 with Excellent Life options, the Dimension Master reaches approximately 8,500–9,500 HP (depending on set options). That HP, combined with active Drain Life, makes farm in Karutan 1 and Aida 2 fully self-sustaining without HP potions.

Why not more AGI? AGI adds physical defense and attack speed, but Summoners use skills exclusively — physical attack speed does not affect Requiem or Drain Life. The 60–70 AGI points exist solely to meet gear requirements.

Main Set: Sphinx Set

The Sphinx Set is the standard Summoner armor in S6, with a native ENE bonus and built-in magic resistances. It is the only relevant endgame armor set for Summoner. Target pieces at +9 minimum, with a goal of +11 or +12 on the core pieces.

Excellent option priority:

  • Helm and Armor: +Excellent Life (additional HP is the highest-impact option for the hybrid build)
  • Pants: +Excellent Mana (mana sustain for continuous skills in long farm sessions)
  • Gloves: +Increase Wizard/Curse Damage or +Excellent Life
  • Boots: +Excellent Speed (movement speed for smoother farm flow)
Sphinx Helm +11 +Exc Life
Sphinx Armor +11 +Exc Life
Sphinx Pants +11 +Exc Mana
Sphinx Gloves +11 +Exc Life or +Inc Damage
Sphinx Boots +11 +Exc Speed

> [!TIP] > If you are still gearing up, use a Legendary Set +9 for Aida and Karutan 1 while accumulating materials for Sphinx +11. Do not wait for the perfect set — the EXP difference between farming Karutan with suboptimal gear versus staying in Atlans is enormous.

Weapon

  • Stick of Destruction +11 +Exc: best Summoner weapon in S6; direct skill damage bonus that amplifies both Requiem and Drain Life
  • Book of Sahamutt +11 +Exc: alternative focused on mana regen and casting speed — better for long farm sessions where mana is the limiting factor
Nota: The damage gap between Stick of Destruction +11 and +12 is relevant in endgame. If you can push it to +12 with Jewels of Bless and Soul accumulated from Lost Tower 6–7 farm, it is worth the investment before changing maps.

Wings: Progression Path

Level 1–150 → No wings or Small Cape of Lord (drop in Noria/Lorencia)
Level 150+ → Wing of Despair (Summoner Wing L2) via Chaos Machine
Level 400+ → Wing of Dimension (Wing L3) — see section below

How to Craft the Wing of Dimension (Wing L3)

The Wing of Dimension is the Level 3 Wing exclusive to the Dimension Master. It is the single biggest power upgrade for the class in endgame, providing significant skill damage bonuses and damage absorption.

Required Materials

1x Wing of Despair +9 or higher (Summoner Wing L2)
3x Loch's Feather
1x Jewel of Creation

> [!WARNING] > Loch's Feather drops exclusively from boss Balgass, who spawns only during the Crywolf event — and only when the Crywolf event FAILS (players fail to defend the altar). There is no Flame of Condor in S6; the Wing L3 requires this specific method with no alternatives. Plan to participate in Crywolf sessions where the defense collectively fails, or acquire the feathers from other players through trade.

Step-by-Step Crafting Procedure

Step 1 → Participate in the Crywolf event and wait for the defenders to fail
Step 2 → Balgass spawns at the center of Crywolf — defeat it to obtain Loch's Feather
Step 3 → Repeat until you have 3x Loch's Feather (drop is not guaranteed per spawn)
Step 4 → Ensure Wing of Despair is at +9 minimum before crafting
Step 5 → Go to NPC Osbourne in Noria and access the Chaos Machine
Step 6 → Insert: Wing of Despair + 3x Loch's Feather + 1x Jewel of Creation
Step 7 → Base success rate ~50% — add Jewel of Luck for an increase
Step 8 → On failure, all materials are lost — keep reserves of Jewels

> [!TIP] > Before attempting the Wing L3 craft, have at least 2 sets of materials (6x Loch's Feather total) if possible. A ~50% rate means failure is statistically common. Accumulating Loch's Feathers across multiple failed Crywolf events is the safest strategy.

Skill Rotation for Solo Farm

Farm in Open Areas (Aida 1–2, Karutan 1)

This is the ideal situation for the hybrid build — dense mob groups where Requiem and Drain Life work in synergy.

1. Position yourself in the center of a group of 5+ mobs
2. Cast Requiem (area damage) hitting all targets simultaneously
3. If HP dropped below 70%, activate Drain Life on the mob with most HP remaining
4. Use Dead Raven on isolated mobs for concentrated damage
5. Repeat the cycle — Requiem → Drain Life → Requiem

Farm in Corridors / Narrow Spots (Lost Tower 6–7, Dungeon)

1. Kite a mob group into a line with controlled movement
2. Use Ice Storm to slow and cluster them into a smaller area
3. Cast Dead Raven for concentrated damage on the slowed group
4. Finish with Drain Life on the highest-HP mob for maximum recovery
5. Advance to the next group only when HP is above 80%

Farm Spots by Level (Post-Evolution Dimension Master)

LevelMapTarget MonstersMain Strategy
400–450Aida Zone 1Witch Queen, Dark ElfRequiem on groups of 6–8; Drain Life sustain
450–500Aida Zone 2Dark Elf WarriorRequiem + Dead Raven sequence
500–600Karutan Floor 1Mons, CondraDrain Life essential — mobs hit hard
600–700Karutan Floor 2Venomous Chain ScorpionIce Storm for slow + Requiem; watch for poison
700+Vulcanus / AcheronFire Golem, Lava GiantParty recommended; Darkness for support

> [!WARNING] > Venomous Chain Scorpion in Karutan 2 applies poison that drains HP per tick. Without sufficient VIT (minimum 400 at level 500), the poison tick damage outpaces Drain Life's healing. Test survivability before committing to a Karutan 2 spot.

PvP with the Hybrid Build

In PvP, the hybrid Dimension Master is not the highest burst damage dealer, but it has unique characteristics: hard to eliminate, with in-combat HP sustain and group control via Ice Storm and Darkness.

Standard PvP Rotation

1. Darkness → defense debuff on the target (reduces both physical and magic defense)
2. Requiem → area damage if 2+ enemies are nearby
3. Ice Storm → slow if the target tries to close in or escape
4. Drain Life → HP sustain while maintaining pressure
5. Dead Raven → concentrated damage on an isolated low-HP target

> [!TIP] > Against Blade Masters (STR tanks with high physical defense): open with Darkness to reduce defense, then use Requiem which deals magic damage — Blade Masters have lower magic defense than physical. Avoid relying on Drain Life against them since their physical damage may outpace your healing.

> [!TIP] > Against Duel Masters (STR+ENE hybrid): use Ice Storm immediately after Darkness. Duel Masters depend on closing the gap to combine melee and ranged skills — Ice Storm breaks that pattern and creates a window for Requiem to land.

> [!WARNING] > In a 1v1 duel against a full ENE Dimension Master, the hybrid build loses — you deal roughly 12–15% less damage. The competitive advantage of the hybrid build is in multi-enemy situations (Castle Siege, Chaos Castle) where survivability has decisive value.

Common Mistakes and How to Avoid Them

Mistake 1: Too many points in AGI AGI does not benefit Summoner skills. Physical attack speed does not affect Requiem, Drain Life, or Ice Storm. Allocate only the minimum needed for gear requirements — typically 60–70 AGI through endgame.

Mistake 2: Ignoring Drain Life Many players focus on Requiem and Dead Raven and neglect Drain Life. In endgame maps (Karutan, Vulcanus), Drain Life is the skill that separates viable farm from constant potion burning. Keep it on your hotbar and use it actively.

Mistake 3: Sphinx Set without Excellent options Sphinx +7 without Excellent options performs far below Sphinx +9 or +11 with Excellent Life. Invest in Excellent options before pushing item level — the option matters more than refinement level up to a point.

Mistake 4: Attempting Karutan 2 before level 500 with insufficient VIT Venomous Chain Scorpion deals high damage plus poison. With less than 400 VIT at level 500, the character cannot sustain the Drain Life cycle against poison tick damage. Stay in Karutan 1 or Aida 2 until reaching the VIT threshold.

Mistake 5: Crafting Wing L3 without backup materials The ~50% Chaos Machine rate is real. Attempting the craft with exactly 3 Loch's Feathers and one Wing of Despair +9 with no reserve is unnecessary risk. Accumulate at least 6 Loch's Feathers and two Wings of Despair before the first craft attempt.

Perguntas frequentes

What is the difference between full ENE and hybrid Dimension Master?

Full ENE maximizes skill damage but leaves the character extremely fragile — in Karutan 2 or Vulcanus you die in 2–3 hits. The hybrid build invests enough VIT to reach ~8,000–10,000 HP at level 400 with Sphinx +11, sacrificing roughly 12–15% of raw damage in exchange for sustained solo farm without relying on parties or mass potion use.

When should I shift points from ENE to VIT?

The rule of thumb: keep enough ENE to kill the main mob of your current map in 2–3 hits with Requiem, then allocate the surplus to VIT. In Tarkan (lv 220+), ~500 ENE already drops Death Beam Knight in 2–3 hits; put the rest into VIT up to ~200 total. In Karutan 1 (lv 360–450), ~900 ENE is the minimum; invest further points into VIT beyond that threshold.

Can a Summoner use Level 3 Wings?

Yes. The Wing of Dimension (Summoner Wing L3) is crafted in the Chaos Machine using Wing of Despair +9 or higher + 3x Loch's Feather + 1x Jewel of Creation. Loch's Feathers drop exclusively from boss Balgass and only when the Crywolf event FAILS — meaning the defenders fail to protect the altar.

Which skills does the Dimension Master use in the hybrid build?

Prioritize Drain Life as your sustain skill (it restores HP proportional to ENE), Requiem for area damage on groups of 5+ mobs, Darkness as a mandatory defense debuff in PvP (always open with it), and Ice Storm for crowd control in tight maps like Lost Tower and to kite Blade Masters in PvP.
