Blade Master Full VIT Tank Build: Maximum PvP Survival
Master PvP as a Blade Master Full VIT Tank: stat distribution, +13 gear, skills, and combat rotation for MU Online S6.
What Is the Blade Master Full VIT Tank
The Blade Master is the final evolution of the Dark Knight after completing the Third Quest. The Full VIT Tank build maximizes HP to make you the hardest target to kill in any PvP scenario — Castle Siege, Death Match, or open conflicts in maps like Aida and Vulcanus.
Unlike the offensive STR build that focuses on damage output and burst, the Full VIT build trades attack power for extreme resilience. With HP above 20,000 and defense over 2,000, you force enemies to spend all their resources trying to drop you while your party or guild deals the actual killing damage.
Stat Distribution by Level
The progression below assumes you have completed all three quests and evolved into a Blade Master. Values are based on standard S6 stat rates (points per level vary by server configuration).
Level 150–250 (Dark Knight → Blade Knight)
At this stage, prioritize STR to equip progressive armors and weapons. You do not yet have your definitive tank kit.
Level 150: 150 STR / 50 AGI / 80 VIT / 0 ENE
Level 200: 180 STR / 60 AGI / 120 VIT / 0 ENE
Level 250: 200 STR / 70 AGI / 180 VIT / 0 ENE
Level 300–350 (Advanced Blade Knight)
After equipping Dark Steel Set or Dragon Knight Set, you can safely begin migrating points into VIT.
Level 300: 220 STR / 80 AGI / 280 VIT / 0 ENE
Level 350: 230 STR / 90 AGI / 380 VIT / 0 ENE
Level 400 (Blade Master — Consolidated Build)
This is the benchmark for the Full VIT Tank build on standard S6 servers.
Level 400: 240 STR / 100 AGI / remainder in VIT / 0 ENE
Practical example: 240 STR / 100 AGI / 460 VIT / 0 ENE (total ~800 distributed pts)
Estimated HP with gear: 18,000–22,000
Recommended Gear
Armor Set — Dark Soul Set
The Dark Soul Set is the Blade Master's endgame armor. Each piece provides higher defense and HP bonuses than the Dragon Knight Set.
| Piece | Minimum Level | Recommended Options |
|---|---|---|
| Dark Soul Helm | +11 | +HP, +Defense, +Luck |
| Dark Soul Armor | +11 | +HP, +Defense, +Luck |
| Dark Soul Pants | +11 | +HP, +Defense |
| Dark Soul Gloves | +11 | +HP, +Defense |
| Dark Soul Boots | +11 | +HP, +Defense, +Luck |
Accessible Alternative — Dragon Knight Set
Before completing the Dark Soul Set, Dragon Knight Set +9 is a solid choice. You can equip it at around 220 STR and it provides decent defense while you farm Zen for the Dark Soul upgrade.
Weapons
Main Option (PvP):
- Sword of Destruction +11 +28 options — highest base damage among DK swords, good attack speed with 100 AGI
- Dark Reign Blade +13 — alternative with superior attack speed bonus
Accessible Option:
- Dragon Spear +9 — works well up to level 350, minimum 180 STR
Jewelry and Accessories
Ring: Ring of Fire +1 or Ring of Ice +1 (any elemental ring)
Pendant: Pendant of Fire or Pendant of Water
Goal: additional +HP and elemental resistances for PvP
Wings — Mandatory Progression
Wings in the Full VIT Tank build are as important as your main equipment.
Step 1 — Wings of Dragon (DK Wing L2)
Crafted via Chaos Goblin using Chaos Weapon + materials. Adds damage and resistance bonuses.
Wings of Dragon Recipe (Wing L2):
→ Chaos Weapon (+6 minimum)
→ 1x Jewel of Chaos
→ 1x Jewel of Creation
→ Adequate Zen
→ Mix at Chaos Goblin (Noria)
Step 2 — Cape of Lord (Wing L3)
This is the endgame wing for the Blade Master tank. HP and defense bonuses are substantially superior to L2.
Cape of Lord Recipe (Wing L3):
→ Wings of Dragon (Wing L2) +9 or higher
→ 3x Loch's Feather (exclusive drop from Balgass when Crywolf FAILS)
→ 1x Jewel of Creation
→ Chaos Goblin (Chaos Machine)
Success rate: variable (Lucky Items recommended to increase %)
Priority Skills
As a Blade Master, focus Master Level points on these skills to maximize your tank profile:
Defensive Skills (high priority)
- Increase Defense — percentage reduction of incoming damage
- Increase Max HP — direct additional HP, crucial for Full VIT
- Defense Success Rate — increases physical attack block chance
Combo Offensive Skills
- Slash — first hit of the combo
- Twisting Slash — second hit, area damage
- Rageful Blow — third hit, massive concentrated damage

PvP Rotation with the Full VIT Build
Castle Siege (CS)
The Blade Master Full VIT Tank shines brightest in Castle Siege. Your role is to defend the gate switch and the Crown for extended periods.
CS Positioning:
1. Stand beside the gate switch — not behind it
2. Activate Combo when enemies approach in groups
3. Use Twisting Slash to push groups off the switch
4. Keep HP above 50% before engaging — use potions proactively
5. Do not chase fleeing enemies — you are slow, hold your position
Open PvP (Aida / Vulcanus)
1v1 Duel:
→ Activate Defence Increase before engaging
→ Use Combo immediately upon entering melee range
→ Do not try to kite — your role is to absorb and counter-attack
→ Against DL: watch for Chaotic Diseier + knockback, maintain medium range
Against Groups:
→ Position yourself in the center of the enemy group
→ Twisting Slash hits everyone simultaneously
→ Your high VIT sustains combined incoming damage longer than any other class
Blade Master Full VIT Tank Checklist
Before entering Castle Siege or serious PvP, verify:
- HP above 18,000 (check in status screen)
- Dark Soul Set at least +9 on all pieces
- Wings of Dragon +9 or Cape of Lord equipped
- Combo skill active and tested on a target
- HP Potions (Large) in adequate supply (minimum 100 for CS)
- Elemental resistance tested against the predominant damage type on your server
- Party includes at least one Elf for Defense buff and Heal
Final Notes
The Blade Master Full VIT Tank is not the character that leads the kill ranking. It is the character still standing when everyone else has fallen. In Castle Siege, guild wars, and PvP in contested zones, having a reliable Blade Master Tank in the party is the difference between controlling the field and losing it.
Invest patiently in gear — Dark Soul Set +13 with HP options is a long-term project, but every upgrade is a meaningful increase in survivability. Start at +9, run daily events to accumulate Jewels, and upgrade gradually.
Perguntas frequentes
How many VIT points does a Blade Master tank need?
To tank in Kalima and Castle Siege at level 400, put at least 300 points into VIT. This keeps HP above 18,000 with solid gear. On high-rate servers (x100+), you can push to 350 VIT and still keep enough STR to equip Dark Soul +13.
Does a Blade Master tank work for PvM too?
Yes, but with reduced DPS. The Full VIT build is slower for farming in Tarkan and Aida, but it can solo Lost Tower 6 and 7 without heavy potion usage. For efficient PvM, consider a hybrid build with 200 STR / 150 VIT / 50 AGI.
Which wings are mandatory for this build?
Wings of Dragon (DK Wing L2) are the minimum for Castle Siege. For serious PvP, upgrade to Cape of Lord (Wing L3) using 3x Loch's Feather + Jewel of Creation. The HP and defense bonus from L3 wings is essential for the Full VIT build.
How do you get Loch's Feather in S6?
Loch's Feather only drops from Balgass when the Crywolf event FAILS — meaning players fail to defend the Crywolf Altar. Be present on the Crywolf map and wait for the result. Each successful defense failure gives a drop chance from Balgass.
