Why Play AGI Blade Knight in PvP?

The Dark Knight is the most iconic class in MU Online, and within the S6 evolution line — Dark Knight → Blade Knight → Blade Master — the AGI-focused build represents the most aggressive and dynamic PvP path. While the STR variant bets on heavy damage and passive survival, the AGI build prioritizes extreme attack speed, high dodge rate, and constant pressure on the opponent.

Nota: The Blade Knight is the first evolution of the Dark Knight, obtained after completing the Second Quest at level 220. The final evolution to Blade Master occurs at the Third Quest. This guide is valid for both forms, but reaches its full potential as a Blade Master.

The core logic of this build is simple: AGI simultaneously increases defense rate, dodge chance, and attack speed. A Blade Master with 900 AGI points attacks 2 to 3 times faster than a conventional STR build, making combat fundamentally different.

Stat Allocation by Phase

The distribution is not static — it evolves as you progress in levels and resets. Below are the key milestones:

Phase 1: Dark Knight (Level 1–220)

At this stage you do not yet have access to Blade Knight skills. The goal is to reach level 220 and complete the Second Quest.

Level 150:
→ STR: 100 (minimum to equip main weapons)
→ AGI: 200
→ VIT: 80
→ ENE: 20 (minimum required)
→ Remaining points: all into AGI
Atenção: Do not neglect STR entirely. Without enough STR you cannot equip the best weapons and armor for your level — always check equipment requirements before allocating points.

Phase 2: Blade Knight (Level 220–350)

After the Second Quest and obtaining Wings L1, the build starts to take real shape.

Level 300:
→ STR: 150 (enough for Dark Reign Blade / Sword of Destruction)
→ AGI: 450
→ VIT: 120
→ ENE: 20
→ Remaining points: all into AGI

Phase 3: Blade Master (Level 400 — competitive PvP standard)

Level 400:
→ STR: 200
→ AGI: 700
→ VIT: 150
→ ENE: 20
→ CMD: 0

Approximate total points invested: 1,070 + level up bonuses

Phase 4: High-Reset Blade Master (400+ with multiple resets)

With accumulated resets and high level, you can adjust slightly:

High reset priority (level 400 + ~10 resets typical):
→ STR: 250 (to equip Dark Reign Blade +15 without help)
→ AGI: 900
→ VIT: 200 (extra margin against burst damage from MG/DL)
→ ENE: 20
Dica: Most S6 servers allow you to check the attack speed cap via damage logs or community tools. When adding more AGI no longer increases visible speed, redirect extra points to VIT to better survive against Grand Masters and Duel Masters.

Weapons

The weapon defines the build's DPS. Prioritize one-handed weapons with high base damage to maximize attack speed (two-handed weapons are slower).

WeaponLevel Req.Why Use It
Sword of Destruction80Best pre-endgame option, good base damage
Dark Reign Blade100Top S6 weapon, excellent damage with 1 hand
Explosion Blade100Alternative with attack speed bonus
Rune Blade110Very strong combined with Ancient options
Nota: Whenever possible, play with a shield in the secondary hand — the Blade Knight can use Shield+Sword simultaneously, which substantially increases defense without sacrificing attack speed.

Recommended Shield: Crimson Glory Shield +13 +Luck+HP or Dark Legendary Shield +13.

Armor — Dark Soul Set

The Dark Soul Set is the best set for AGI Blade Knight PvP in S6 due to the Full Set Bonus: +20 Attack Speed.

Dark Soul Armor +13 +Luck+Skill
Dark Soul Helm +13 +Luck+Skill
Dark Soul Pants +13 +Luck+Skill
Dark Soul Gloves +13 +Luck+AGI
Dark Soul Boots +13 +Luck+AGI
Dica: Item options in S6 are: +Life, +Mana, +Speed (attack speed), +Skill (skill damage), +Luck (critical). For AGI PvP build, prioritize +Skill and +Speed on main armor pieces, and +AGI on gloves and boots.

Alternative: Ashcrow Set offers higher physical defense, better against physical attack classes (other DK, DL). Choose Dark Soul for varied duels and Ashcrow for Castle Siege environments where you face many warriors.

Jewels and Support Items

  • Pendant of Lightning or Pendant of Fire — increases skill damage
  • Ring of Ice + Ring of Poison — classic combo for reducing opponent's defense via status effects
  • Always keep Large HP Potions and Large MP Potions on hotbar (slots 1–4)

Wings and Progression

Wings L1 (Blade Knight)

Wings of Dragon (DK L1 Wings) are obtained at the Chaos Machine with:

→ 1x Jewel of Chaos
→ 5x Jewel of Bless
→ 5x Jewel of Soul
→ 1x Dark Knight Character Card
→ 1x any weapon +4 or higher
→ Zen: 2,000,000

Wings L2 (Blade Master)

After the Third Quest (level 350+), you can craft Wings of Storm (DK L2 Wings):

→ 1x Jewel of Chaos
→ 1x Wings of Dragon (L1) +9 or higher
→ 2x Loch's Feather (obtained from Balgass when Crywolf FAILS)
→ 1x Jewel of Creation
→ Zen: 10,000,000
Atenção: Wings L3 (enhanced Wings of Storm) require 3x Loch's Feather + 1x Jewel of Creation + Wings L2 +9. Loch's Feathers ONLY drop from Balgass (Balgass Barracks, Crywolf Fortress map) when the Crywolf event ENDS IN FAILURE — meaning players did not successfully defend the statues. Coordinate with your guild to lose Crywolf strategically if you need the feathers.

Leveling Roadmap for AGI Build

The AGI build levels slower than STR in early phases because you deal less damage. Compensate with the right spots:

Level 1–80: Lorencia and Noria

→ Lorencia (150, 130): Spider, Budge Dragon, Hound
→ Noria (170, 100): Goblin, Beetle Monster, Forest Monster
→ Goal: reach level 80 with STR 80 / AGI 80 / VIT 50

Level 80–150: Dungeon

→ Dungeon 1 (60, 100): Skeleton Warrior, Skeleton Archer
→ Dungeon 2 (120, 80): Dark Knight, Gorgon
→ Dungeon 3 (60, 60): Larva, Skeleton
→ Use "Twisting Slash" skill for group clearing

Level 150–220: Lost Tower and Atlans

→ Lost Tower 3 (90, 50): Cursed Wizard, Mummy
→ Lost Tower 6 (80, 80): Elite Skeleton, Dark Witch
→ Atlans 1 (25, 25): Bahamut, Beam Knight — best XP per hour in this range

Level 220–320: Tarkan and Icarus

→ Tarkan 1 (80, 80): Tarkan, Mutant — excellent Jewel drops
→ Tarkan 2 (50, 120): Iron Wheel, Zaikan (boss)
→ Icarus (100, 80): Alquamos, Mega Muscle, Queen Rainer
Dica: In Tarkan, use the Whirlwind skill (available to Blade Knight) to hit multiple monsters. With high AGI, the downtime between normal attacks is so low that alternating between Whirlwind and normal attack maximizes DPS.

Level 320–400: Aida and Karutan

→ Aida 1 (75, 150): Witch Queen, Bloody Witch Queen
→ Aida 2 (200, 100): Death Spirit, Condor Feather
→ Karutan 1 (120, 85): Kundun's servant varieties
→ Karutan 2 (130, 55): Schriker, Agon — best XP in late mid-game

PvP Strategies by Class

Vs. Grand Master (evolved DW — Full ENE)

The Grand Master is your biggest rival. It deals massive damage with Soul Barrier and Energy Ball.

Strategy:
→ Keep constant movement — Grand Master has cast time
→ Use Rush/Cyclone to close distance quickly
→ Prioritize burst: Combo → Cyclone → fast normal attack
→ If it uses Soul Barrier, back off and use a potion — don't brute force the barrier
→ Ring of Ice helps interrupt skill casts

Vs. High Elf (evolved Elf — AGI Archer)

The High Elf has far greater range than you.

Strategy:
→ Use terrain (pillars, map corners) to close distance without taking shots
→ Once in melee range, your AGI attack speed exceeds its DPS
→ Watch for the Weakness debuff — reduces your defense by 50% temporarily
→ Goal: get close and stay close throughout the entire duel

Vs. Duel Master (MG — STR+ENE hybrid)

The Duel Master is the most balanced opponent.

Strategy:
→ Both have high attack speed — the winner is usually whoever crits first
→ Keep HP above 60% — the MG's Fire Slash burst can one-shot below that
→ Use Combo whenever available to interrupt the MG's magic casts
→ A build with more VIT (200+ VIT) is recommended specifically for this matchup

Vs. Blade Master (mirror match)

A pure speed duel.

Strategy:
→ Whoever has more AGI has dodge and speed advantage
→ Check if the opponent uses a shield — adjust expected damage accordingly
→ Combo is your biggest ally: DK Combo (Slash → Twisting Slash → Cyclone)
→ Potion timing is decisive — use HP potion as soon as you drop below 50% HP
Atenção: On servers with a PKK (Player Killer Kill) system, be careful about attacking players without orange/red status. Accumulating free kills can make your character a bounty target for other guilds.

DK Combo: The PvP Sequence

The Dark Knight has a unique Combo system in S6. The correct sequence is:

DK Combo Sequence:
1. Normal Attack (right click)
2. Slash (W key — basic skill)
3. Twisting Slash (E key — area skill)
4. Cyclone (R key — finisher)

Timing: each step must be executed while the previous animation is still active
Bonus damage: the full Combo deals ~30–40% more damage than the individual attacks summed
Dica: Practice the Combo on weak Lorencia monsters before using it in PvP. The timing changes slightly with different attack speeds — your high AGI means the input window is shorter and faster than in STR builds.

Master Level Points for AGI Blade Master

Upon reaching Blade Master and accumulating Master Level (ML), invest points in the following order:

Priority 1 (ML 1–50): Increase PvP Defense Rate (+10 per point)
Priority 2 (ML 51–100): Increase Attack Speed (+2 per point)
Priority 3 (ML 101–150): Increase Damage (+15 per point)
Priority 4 (ML 151+): Increase Max HP (+50 per point) — survival
Nota: Defense Rate in PvP determines your dodge rate against physical attacks. For an AGI build that already has high base dodge, investing in Defense Rate via ML creates a powerful combination that frustrates opposing Blade Masters and Lord Emperors.

PvP Ready Checklist

Before entering serious PvP combat (Castle Siege, Blood Castle PvP, Duels), confirm:

  • Full Dark Soul Set +13 with +Skill and +Speed options
  • Dark Reign Blade +13 +Luck+Skill in main hand
  • Crimson Glory Shield +11 or higher in secondary hand
  • Wings L2 (Wings of Storm) equipped
  • 700+ AGI with points invested
  • Large HP Potions x200 in inventory
  • Large MP Potions x100 in inventory
  • DK Combo practiced and working consistently
  • Damage Pendant equipped and Rings configured

Perguntas frequentes

What is the difference between STR and AGI builds on the Blade Knight?

The STR build focuses on raw physical damage and tanking with higher VIT, making it better for PvM. The AGI build sacrifices HP to gain attack speed, dodge rate, and passive defense — an AGI Blade Master attacks 2–3x faster and is much harder to hit in duels, making it superior in 1v1 PvP.

How much AGI is needed for maximum attack speed?

In S6, the attack speed cap depends on the server, but generally 800–1000 AGI reaches the ceiling with high-level gear. With Wings L2/L3 and a full Ancient set, 700 base AGI already produces noticeably faster attacks than equivalent STR builds.

Can an AGI Blade Knight tank effectively?

It is not the build's strength. Passive defense through AGI partially compensates for the lack of VIT, but you will die faster than an STR build against high-damage classes like the Grand Master. Use HP potions aggressively and focus on killing before being killed.

Which sets work best for AGI Blade Knight in PvP?

Dark Soul Set +13 +Luck+Skill is the gold standard due to its Full Set bonus of +20 Attack Speed. Ashcrow Set +13 is an alternative with more defense. Both should have AGI options wherever possible to amplify the build.
