What Is the Sylion Ancient Set?

The Sylion Ancient Set is an ancient armor set exclusive to the Elf class in MU Online Season 6. It is based on the Sunlight Set — a mid-to-high tier armor for the Elf — and receives additional bonuses for being an Ancient version, making it significantly more powerful than the standard Sunlight Set.

Ancient Sets in MU Online S6 are identified by an extra name appended after the base item name (e.g., "Sunlight Armor Sylion") and carry fixed Ancient options that stack as more pieces from the same set are equipped simultaneously.

Nota: In MU Online S6, there are two Ancient Sets based on the Elf's Sunlight Set: Sylion and Drake (based on the Dark Steel Set). Do not confuse the two — each has different bonuses and a distinct gameplay focus.

Sylion Set Pieces

The Sunlight Set consists of 5 armor pieces. All Sylion versions carry the "Sylion" identifier as their Ancient name:

PieceFull NameBase Def (+0)STR ReqAGI Req

PantsSunlight Pants Sylion4511896
GlovesSunlight Gloves Sylion3111896

Dica: The base defense values above are at +0 upgrade with no options active. At maximum upgrade (+15) with Ancient and Excellent options, defense values increase substantially. Each +1 upgrade level adds approximately 2-3 defense points per piece.

Sylion Ancient Bonuses

Sylion's Ancient bonuses are split into individual piece bonuses (always active when the piece is equipped) and set bonuses (activated by equipping multiple pieces simultaneously).

Individual Piece Bonuses

Each Sylion piece comes with fixed Ancient options, typically including combinations of:

PieceTypical Ancient Option
Sunlight Helm Sylion+Life (HP) +28 / +Mana +18
Sunlight Armor Sylion+Defense +10 / +Life +20
Sunlight Pants Sylion+AGI +10 / +HP Recovery Rate
Sunlight Gloves Sylion+STR +10 / +Attack Speed +5
Sunlight Boots Sylion+AGI +12 / +Movement Speed
Nota: Exact Ancient options may vary by server, as some private servers adjust base values. The numbers above reflect standard S6 values. Always check your character's attribute panel to confirm which bonuses are currently active.

Set Bonuses

Sylion set bonuses are cumulative and activate based on how many pieces are equipped simultaneously:

Pieces EquippedActive Bonus
2 pieces+Defense +15
3 pieces+Max HP +50
4 pieces+Defense +20 / +Damage Decrease 5%
5 pieces (Full Set)+Max HP +80 / +Double Damage Rate 5% / +Defense +15 additional
Dica: With the Full Sylion Set (5 pieces), the Elf gains a 5% incoming damage reduction and a Double Damage bonus. This makes the set outstanding for hybrid support-combat builds in group events like Castle Siege and Crywolf.

Comparison: Sylion vs Other Elf Ancient Sets

The Elf in S6 has four main Ancient Set options: Gywen, Agnis, Drake, and Sylion. Each suits a different playstyle:

Atenção: The Agnis Ancient Set is based on the Legendary Set and requires a significantly higher character level to be efficient. Do not confuse it with Sylion when planning your progression — Sylion is the better choice if your character is between levels 180-260.

How to Obtain the Sylion Ancient Set

Monster and Map Drops

Sylion pieces are obtained as random drops from monsters in the following maps, listed in increasing order of efficiency:

Atlans 1F → Level 66-75 monsters → Low drop chance for Sylion pieces
Atlans 2F → Level 76-84 monsters → Moderate chance
Atlans 3F → Level 85-95 monsters → Best Atlans drop chance
Lost Tower 6F / 7F → Similar chance to Atlans 3F
Tarkan → Level 95-107 monsters → Moderate-high chance
Aida → Level 100-115 monsters → High chance for +luck/opt versions
Dica: To farm Ancient Sets efficiently, prioritize monsters that drop level 7+ items (indicated by the gold/yellow item name color when dropped). Tarkan and Aida monsters have the highest probability of dropping items with Ancient options.

Bosses with Increased Ancient Drop Rates

Beyond regular drops, the following bosses have an increased chance of dropping Ancient pieces:

BossLocationRespawnRelevant Drop
Golden DragonLorencia / Devias / Noria~1hVarious Ancient Sets
Red DragonLorencia / Dungeon~1hMid-level Ancient Sets
KundunKalima 712h/24hHigh-level Ancient Sets
White WizardLorencia / DeviasVariableRandom Ancient Sets
Nota: Kundun in Kalima 7 has the best chances of dropping high-level Ancient pieces, including Sylion with strong options. However, accessing Kalima 7 requires using consecutive Invisibility Cloaks (levels 1 through 6) to reach the correct floor.

Blood Castle and Devil Square

Recurring in-game events are also reliable Ancient item sources:

Blood Castle 7 (BC7) → Rewards can include high-level Ancient pieces
Devil Square 5 (DS5) → Monster drops include Ancient Sets

To maximize the Sylion Ancient Set bonuses, the recommended stat distribution for a level 300+ Elf is:

StatRecommended PointsReason
STR118 (minimum)Sunlight Set requirement
AGI400-600Increases defense and physical attack
VIT200-300Complements Sylion's HP bonus
ENE200-350Improves support skills (Heal, Bless, etc.)
Dica: Combining high VIT with the Full Set Sylion HP bonuses (+130 HP from set bonuses + per-piece Ancient options) results in an Elf with excellent survivability — ideal for group events like Crywolf Fortress where the Elf needs to stay alive long enough to buff allies.

Skills Enhanced by the Sylion Set

With the Full Set's 5% Double Damage bonus, the following skills benefit directly:

  • Multi-Shot: The Elf's most powerful AoE PvE skill
  • Penetration Shot: Line-of-sight damage hitting multiple enemies
  • Arrows: Basic attack with Double Damage applicable

Ideal Upgrade Level

+9 → Safe threshold without additional Jewels of Bless
+11 → Recommended using Jewel of Bless + Soul to minimize risk
+13 → For advanced players; use multiple Bless Jewels for protection
+15 → Maximum; only attempt with a large Jewel of Bless stockpile

Beyond fixed Ancient options, a dropped Sylion piece may also carry Excellent options. The best Excellent options for the Sylion are:

Excellent OptionBenefit
Increase Max HP +4%Stacks with Ancient HP bonus
Excellent Damage Rate +10%Increases critical hit chance
Defense Increase +5%Stacks with Ancient defense bonus
Reflect Damage 5%Useful in PvP and Castle Siege
Atenção: Excellent Ancient pieces (carrying both Excellent options and an Ancient name) are extremely rare and valuable. If you find one, know that it combines both bonus systems — Excellent options and Ancient bonuses are independent and fully stack with each other.

The Sylion Set in Events

Castle Siege

In Castle Siege, the Elf wearing Full Sylion acts as a support-tank:

  • The 5% Damage Decrease bonus reduces incoming damage from other players
  • High HP allows surviving in conflict zones long enough to buff allies
  • The Elf can use Heal, Greater Fortitude, and Bless more reliably before dying

Crywolf Fortress

Crywolf (Defense succeeds) → Balgass does NOT appear
Crywolf (Defense fails) → Balgass appears → Drops Loch's Feather
Nota: The Loch's Feather dropped by Balgass (only when Crywolf FAILS) is required to craft a Level 3 Wing. The Sylion Set's high HP helps the Elf survive longer during the event to collect rewards — but note that Crywolf must fail for Loch's Feather to drop.

Illusion Temple

In the Illusion Temple, mobility and survivability are key. The Sylion Set provides:

  • Superior defense to withstand attacks from enemy players
  • High HP pool for extended durability throughout the event
  • AGI bonus from boots helps with movement speed

Additional Frequently Asked Questions

Is it worth farming the Sylion Set, or should I go straight to a higher-tier set?

For players between levels 200-280, Sylion is an excellent mid-game choice. Above level 300+, consider seeking higher-tier sets available on your server. However, Sylion remains competitive on servers with moderate experience rates.

Can I mix Sylion pieces with other Ancient set pieces?

Yes, but set bonuses only activate for pieces belonging to the same Ancient Set. Mixing Sylion pieces with Agnis pieces, for example, will grant individual bonuses from each piece but will not activate the set bonus for either one.

Does the Sylion Set have an associated weapon?

No. Ancient armor sets do not have mandatory linked weapons. For an Elf using Sylion, the best weapons are Elven Bows (for DPS builds) or Sticks/Scepters for high-ENE support builds.

Perguntas frequentes

Which class uses the Sylion Ancient Set?

The Sylion Ancient Set is exclusive to the Elf class and its evolutions: Muse Elf and High Elf.

Where do I farm the Sylion Ancient Set?

Sylion pieces drop primarily in Atlans (floors 1-3), Tarkan, and Lost Tower (upper floors). Higher-tier versions with better options appear in Aida and Kanturu.

What is the minimum level to equip the Sylion Ancient Set?

The Sunlight Set base requirements are 118 STR and 96 AGI per piece. In practice, level 220+ is recommended to fully benefit from all active bonuses.

Is the Sylion Set better than Agnis or Gywen?

It depends on your build. Sylion focuses on defense and HP, Gywen on bow damage, and Agnis on ENE/magic. For support or tank Elf builds, Sylion is the superior choice.
