What Is the Harmony Jewel

The Harmony Jewel is one of the seven jewel types present in MU Online Season 6. It was introduced to allow an additional layer of customization on high-level items by adding an exclusive option that cannot be obtained through any other enhancement method.

Unlike the Bless Jewel (which increases the item's level) or the Soul Jewel (which adds luck or increases the additional option), Harmony adds a specific attribute chosen randomly from a list of available options for that item type — weapon, armor, or slot jewelry.

Nota: The Harmony Jewel can only be applied to items that already have an additional option (+option) of at least level 4. Items with no additional option or with option levels 1, 2, or 3 will not accept Harmony.

How to Apply the Harmony Jewel

The application process is straightforward but requires attention to avoid wasting jewels on unsuitable items.

Step-by-Step:
Required item → Minimum additional option level of +4
  1. Open the Chaos Machine (NPC Lahap in Noria or Devias)
  2. Select the "Restoring" option
  3. Place the desired item + 1x Harmony Jewel
  4. Confirm → Option is generated randomly
  5. Result → Item receives 1 Harmony option (replaces previous if any)
Atenção: Applying the Harmony Jewel cannot fail in terms of destroying the item — the item always survives the process. However, the generated option is random within the available options for that item type. There is no way to guarantee which specific option will be applied.

Harmony Options for Weapons

Weapons are divided into two categories: one-handed weapons and two-handed weapons/bows. Each category has its own set of possible options.

Dica: For physical classes like DK (Dragon Knight → Blade Knight → Blade Master) and Elf, prioritize Ignore Enemy Defense or Increase Attack Power options as they scale better in endgame content where monsters have high defense values.

Ancient Sets and Harmony

Ancient sets have their own fixed options called "Ancient Options" (shown in blue/gold text). The Harmony Jewel adds an independent option from those Ancient options — they coexist on the item.

Examples of advantageous combinations:

Hyon Set (DK / Dragon Series) + Harmony:
Ancient Option → Fixed set bonus (strength, damage)
Harmony Option → Ignore Defense (7%) or Maximum Damage (+20)
Result → DK with high penetration and fixed damage

Gywen Set (Elf / Bow Series) + Harmony:
Ancient Option → Ranged attack bonus
Harmony Option → Attack Power (+7%) or Attack Speed (+7)
Result → Elf with high long-range DPS

Sebone Set (DW / Bone Series) + Harmony:
Ancient Option → Elemental and skill bonus
Harmony Option → Maximum MP (+50) or Skill Level (+3)
Result → DW with maximum magical sustain
Nota: The Ceto (DK/Great Dragon), Heras (DW/Ashcrow), Agnis (Elf/Legendary), Chrono (MG/Divine), Anubis (DL/Anubis), Gaia (Summoner/Dark Soul), Kantata (DK/Scale), Eplate (DW/Energy Plate), Drake (Elf/Dark Steel), Broy (Summoner/Venom Mist), Sylion (Elf/Sunlight), Enis (DL/Red Spirit), and Aruan (DK/Thunder Hawk) sets also accept Harmony normally — the minimum +4 option rule applies equally to all of them.

Common Mistakes When Using the Harmony Jewel

1. Applying to an item without sufficient option level The game does not allow application if the item does not have a +4 or higher additional option. Many players try to apply Harmony to +option 2 or 3 items and become confused when the Chaos Machine refuses.

2. Overwriting a valuable option If you already have an item with Harmony at "Ignore Defense 7%" and apply again hoping to improve, you may lose that maximum-value option and receive an inferior one. Always weigh the risk before reapplying.

3. Confusing Harmony with Luck or Excellent options The Harmony Jewel only adds one specific Harmony option (indicated with different text in the item tooltip). It does not interfere with Excellent options (which come from Excellent-grade items naturally) or the Luck option.

4. Using on low-level items Harmony on low-tier items is a waste. Apply only on high-level items that you plan to use long-term or that are already highly upgraded (+).

Obtaining Harmony Jewels

Harmony Jewels are obtained primarily through:

  • Drop from high-level monsters in endgame zones (Kalima, Tarkan, Aida, Lost Tower)
  • Combining 10 Harmony fragments at the Chaos Machine
  • Trading with other players on the server market
  • Participation in special events on the ViciadosMU server
Dica: Save your Harmony Jewels for items you are certain you will keep. In Season 6 servers, the Harmony Jewel is a relatively scarce resource compared to Bless and Soul — do not waste them on intermediate gear that you plan to replace.

Perguntas frequentes

What is the Harmony Jewel?

The Harmony Jewel is a special jewel in MU Online S6 used to add one extra option to high-level items (those with at least +4 additional option). It replaces any existing Harmony option on the item, so always plan ahead before applying.

Can I remove a Harmony option from an item?

Yes. Applying a new Harmony Jewel to an item that already has a Harmony option replaces the previous one. There is no extra cost beyond the jewel itself, but the old option is permanently lost.

Does the Harmony option scale with the item's upgrade level?

No. The Harmony option is fixed and does not scale with the item's + level. Values are set at the moment of application and remain constant regardless of further upgrading.

Do weapons and armors have different Harmony options?

Yes. Weapons receive offensive options such as minimum/maximum damage increase, attack speed, and defense ignore rate. Armors receive defensive options like HP, MP, HP/MP recovery, and damage reduction.

What is the best Harmony option for Blade Master DK?

For the Blade Knight/Blade Master, 'Increase Maximum Damage' on two-handed weapons and 'Increase Attack Power' are generally the most valued options, as they directly impact DPS in physical builds.
