Rings and Pendants in MU Online: resistances and bonuses

Rings and pendants give elemental resistances and bonuses in MU Online. See the types and how to use them to your advantage.

Rings and pendants are often underrated accessories, but they make a real difference — especially against monsters and players of specific elements.

Dica: Quick answer: rings and pendants give resistances (ice, fire, lightning, poison) and bonuses. Swap them per the enemy: resistance to the right element greatly reduces damage taken.

Common types

AccessoryTypical effect
Ring of IceIce resistance
Ring of FireFire resistance
Ring of WindLightning resistance
Ring of PoisonPoison resistance
Pendant of Ice/Lightning/...Varied resistances

How to use them well

  • In PvM, equip the resistance for the map monsters' element;
  • In PvP, adjust against the opponent's class/attack;
  • Excellent accessories can have extra bonuses (recovery, damage).
Nota: In modern seasons, rings and pendants gain even more weight with the elements and pentagram system. See the dedicated guide.
Atenção: Don't ignore accessories thinking "only armor matters". The right resistance can be the difference between winning and dying in a boss fight or duel.

See also the sets and items guide and the elements and pentagram system one.

Perguntas frequentes

What are rings for in MU Online?

Rings give resistances (ice, fire, lightning, poison) and can have options. They're useful in PvM (against monsters of a certain element) and in PvP.

What's the difference between a ring and a pendant?

Both are accessories with resistances/bonuses. You equip them in their own slots (usually two rings and one pendant), combining resistances as needed.
