Complete guide for MU Online S6 newcomers: class selection, stat allocation, monster level ranges, and a daily routine to level up fast in your first month.

Starting MU Online for the first time can feel overwhelming: six classes, hundreds of monsters, evolution systems, and a complex economy. This guide breaks your first month into clear steps so you progress consistently, without wasting stats or time.

Class Selection and Starting Build

Your class choice defines your entire routine. S6 features six options, each with its own evolution path:

Dark Knight → Blade Knight (lv 150) → Blade Master (lv 400)
Dark Wizard → Soul Master (lv 150) → Grand Master (lv 400)
Elf → Muse Elf (lv 150) → High Elf (lv 400)
Magic Gladiator → Duel Master (lv 400) [no 1st or 2nd quest]
Dark Lord → Lord Emperor (lv 400) [uses CMD stat]
Summoner → Bloody Summoner (lv 150) → Dimension Master (lv 400)

For your first month, we recommend:

Dark Wizard: Put 60% of points into ENE and 40% into VIT. Area spells (Lightning, Ice Arrow) kill monster groups quickly, making leveling faster and more efficient.

Elf: Focus on AGI (50%) and ENE (35%), with the rest in VIT. Triple Shot covers a wide area, and the self-heal skill cuts down on potion spending significantly.

Dark Knight: Requires more investment in gear. Distribute STR (50%), AGI (25%), and VIT (25%). Better suited for players with guild support or donated starter gear.

> [!TIP] > Write down or spreadsheet your target stat totals before you start leveling. A misplaced stat point without a reset available can set you back weeks of progress.

Week 1 to 2: Levels 1 through 60

Always start in Lorencia. The starter monsters are manageable, the map is safe, and you have time to learn the controls.

Monster leveling route:

LevelMonsterLocation
1-10Bull Fighter, HorseLorencia (center)
10-20Budge Dragon, SpiderLorencia (east)
20-35Skeleton Warrior, HoundLorencia (north) / Noria
35-50Stone Golem, Poison BullNoria
50-60Goblin, Forest MonsterNoria / Dungeon 1

Do not use Jewels yet. Save every Jewel of Bless and Jewel of Soul that drops. By the end of week 2 you should have at least 10 of each, enough to start upgrading gear meaningfully.

Nota: The S6 experience system rewards fighting monsters close to your own level. Going to areas well above your level reduces XP gained per kill. Stay in the correct range for maximum efficiency.

Week 3 and 4: Levels 60 through 130

From level 60 onward, the Dungeon offers significantly better XP per monster.

Dungeon and Devias leveling route:

LevelMonsterLocationXP Quality
60-80Dark Knight (mob), Thunder LichDungeon 1medium
80-100Skeleton Archer, Death CowDungeon 2good
100-120Devil, ShadowDungeon 3excellent
120-130Lizard King, Poison ShadowDeviasexcellent

Recommended stat totals at level 100:

Dark Wizard at level 100:
ENE → 150 base points (minimum for area skills to hit hard)
  VIT → 80 base points
AGI → 30 base points (just enough for basic defense)
STR → minimum needed to equip armor

Elf at level 100:
  AGI → 130 base points
  ENE → 80 base points
  VIT → 60 base points
STR → minimum needed for bow

At this stage, start spending saved Jewels. Push your main weapon and armor to +7 using Jewel of Soul (moderate success rate), then use Jewel of Bless to attempt +9 and +10. A weapon at +7 or higher makes a noticeable damage difference.

> [!WARNING] > Do not use Jewel of Soul on items above +9 without Jewel of Life protection. The chance of downgrading the item is high and you can lose weeks of grinding in seconds.

Quest System and Class Evolution

Class evolution is the most important milestone of your first month. Here is what you need to know:

1st Quest (level 150) — NPC Marlon in Devias:

  • Unlocks your second class (Blade Knight, Soul Master, Muse Elf, Bloody Summoner)
  • Requires completing a series of collection and monster elimination tasks
  • Reward: exclusive second-class skills unlocked and stat bonuses

2nd Quest (level 220) — NPC Marlon in Devias:

  • Required to equip Level 2 Wings (Wing L2)
  • Amplifies second-class skill power significantly
  • Requires items that are hard to farm solo — ask your guild for help

Magic Gladiator is the only class that skips both quests and cannot use Level 1 Wings. It starts strong but follows a different progression curve. Dark Lord uses the exclusive CMD stat, which increases the number and power of summoned soldiers — allocate at least 20% of points to CMD from the start.

Dark Lord - suggested stat spread at level 100:
  STR → 80
  AGI → 50
  VIT → 60
  ENE → 40
CMD → 40 <- do not neglect this stat

Daily Routine for Maximum Progress

One month of consistent play beats weeks of random grinding. Adopt this daily routine:

1-hour session:

  1. Check guild chat — XP bonus events change daily
  2. Complete your available Blood Castle or Devil Square for extra XP and drops
  3. Farm the correct spot for your level for 40 minutes
  4. Sell or warehouse rare drops

Blood Castle by level:

BCRequired Level
115 to 80
281 to 130
3131 to 180
4181 to 230

Devil Square by level:

DSRequired Level
116 to 80
281 to 130
3131 to 180

> [!TIP] > Join Devil Square even if your character feels underpowered for the tier. Group experience is significantly higher than solo farming and you learn event mechanics far faster than grinding alone.

First Month Goals

After 30 days of consistent play you should have reached:

  • Level 130 to 180 depending on daily time invested
  • Average gear level of +7 to +9
  • 1st Quest completed at level 150
  • At least 50 Jewels saved (Bless + Soul combined)
  • Regular participation in Blood Castle and Devil Square events
  • Membership in an active guild (essential for 2nd Quest and guild events)

MU Online rewards those who plan ahead. With correct stat allocation, the right leveling spots, and a consistent event routine, you will reach level 150 faster than most newcomers and have a solid foundation for the mid-game with Level 2 Wings and full class skills unlocked.

Perguntas frequentes

Which class is best for beginners?

Dark Wizard and Elf are the easiest starting options. DW deals area damage from level 1 and Elf has self-healing. Both are more forgiving than Dark Knight, which requires better gear to shine.

How many stat points do I get per level?

Each level grants 5 attribute points to distribute among STR, AGI, VIT, and ENE (plus CMD for Dark Lord). Plan your build before clicking.

Where do I do the class evolution quests?

At NPC Marlon in Devias. The 1st quest requires level 150 and the 2nd quest requires level 220. Magic Gladiator does not perform these quests.

Can I reset stats after distributing them?

There is no free stat reset. Use Jewel of Bless and server-specific items. Plan your build in advance to avoid costly mistakes.
