What Are Invasions and Why You Should Participate

In MU Online Season 6, invasions are periodic events that appear in specific maps or separate instances, bringing monsters and bosses with superior drops compared to conventional farming. Unlike daily grinding in maps like Lorencia or Dungeon, invasions concentrate high loot value into short time windows, making strategic participation essential for any player who wants to progress quickly.

There are two main types of invasion in S6:

  • Open-map invasions: Golems, Balrogs, and Dark Elf Invasions appear in maps accessible to everyone. Any player can join, making competition for loot more intense.
  • Event instances: Blood Castle (BC) and Devil Square (DS) are closed maps with participant limits, ticket-based access, and their own scoring rules.

Both types reward generously with Jewels (Bless, Soul, Chaos, Life), Excellent items, and eventually parts of high-level Sets.

Schedule and Timings of the Main Invasions

The timings below are based on the standard S6 cycle. Individual servers may adjust frequency, but the rotation structure follows the official standard.

Event → Frequency → Duration
Blood Castle → Every 2h (00h, 02h, 04h...) → 15 min per instance
Devil Square → Every 2h (01h, 03h, 05h...) → 20 min per instance
Golem Invasion → Random (3-4x per day) → 30 min on map
Balrog Invasion → Random (2-3x per day) → 25 min on map
Dark Elf Invasion → 1x per day (variable time) → 40 min on map
Kundun Spawn → 1x per day (fixed at 24h) → Until defeated
Nota: Blood Castle and Devil Square alternate hourly. If BC opens at 00h, DS opens at 01h, BC again at 02h, and so on. Plan your session to participate in both sequentially, maximizing Jewel gains each 2-hour cycle.

Blood Castle: Routes and Strategies by Tier

Blood Castle has 7 tiers (BC1 to BC7), each requiring a different minimum level and dropping items in the corresponding power range.

TierMin LevelMain BossFeatured Drop
BC115Spirit of GuardianJewel of Bless
BC280Spirit of GuardianJewel of Soul
BC3130Spirit of GuardianJewel of Life
BC4180Spirit of Guardian+opt Excellent Items
BC5230Spirit of GuardianLevel 9-11 Sets
BC6280Spirit of GuardianLevel 11-13 Sets
BC7350+Spirit of GuardianJewel of Chaos + Rare Sets

Optimized route inside Blood Castle:

  1. Upon entering, head immediately to the central bridge — that is where Skeleton Warriors and Skeleton Archers spawn in the highest density.
  2. Eliminate monsters on the way to the angel statue without scattering: every monster killed contributes to the kill counter needed to open the boss portal.
  3. When the portal opens, melee classes (DK/Blade Knight, MG) should go first. DW and Summoner stay at range using Meteor/Evil Spirit and Sahamutt/Ice Storm respectively.
  4. The boss Spirit of Guardian has ~180,000 HP in BC7. Prioritize simultaneous physical and magic damage to defeat it before time expires.
Dica: Elf (Muse Elf/High Elf) is the most efficient class in Blood Castle thanks to Triple Shot and Penetration, which hit multiple enemies in a line. Position yourself at the bridge entrance and shoot toward the cluster. A High Elf with AGI 400+ and a level 9 bow clears entire waves in seconds.

Devil Square: Positioning by Class

Devil Square gathers up to 10 players in a closed arena against escalating monster waves. The final score (kills + survival) determines individual loot.

Monsters by tier and recommended level:

DS1 (lv 20-80) → Orcus, Worm → Basic Jewels
DS2 (lv 80-150) → Lizard King, Poison Bull Fighter → Mid-tier Jewels
DS3 (lv 150-220) → Iron Knight, Satyros → Excellent Items level 7-9
DS4 (lv 220-280) → Death Knight, Death Cow → Excellent Sets level 9-11
DS5 (lv 280-350) → Devil, Tantalos → Rare Sets + Jewel of Life
DS6 (lv 350+) → Condor Feather mobs, Shadow mobs → High-level drops

Recommended positioning by class:

  • Dark Knight (Blade Knight): Stay in the center of the arena. Use Twisting Slash to hit groups. Minimum STR 600, VIT 300+ to survive later waves.
  • Dark Wizard (Grand Master): Position yourself in the corners. Nova and Meteor deal area damage without requiring precise aim. ENE 700+ ensures enough damage to lead the kill ranking.
  • Magic Gladiator (Duel Master): The MG is unique in DS for being able to use both magic AND physical attacks. Alternate between Twisting Slash for close groups and Fireslash for distant groups. He requires no quest to access Wing L2, which compensates for the absence of Wing L1.
  • Dark Lord (Lord Emperor): The CMD stat controls the level and power of Dark Horses and Dark Ravens. With CMD 300+, the Raven deals significant damage independently. Position yourself behind the front line and use Fire Burst + Raven to finish off low-HP monsters.
  • Elf (High Elf): Buff allies with Soul Barrier and Defense before waves start, then contribute with Triple Shot. AGI 500+ maximizes attack speed.
  • Summoner (Dimension Master): Sahamutt and Neil are your main area-damage spells. Position at medium range. With ENE 600+, the Summoner frequently leads the kill scoreboard in DS4 and DS5.
Atenção: Never waste Blood Tickets (Blood Castle Ticket) or Chaos Invitations (Devil Square Invitation) on tiers below your maximum level. Each ticket represents a 2-hour cycle. Always use the highest tier your character can complete efficiently — the drop differential between DS3 and DS5, for example, is substantial.

Open-Map Invasions: Golems, Balrogs, and Dark Elfs

These invasions appear in ticket-free maps but require attention to spawn timing and quick execution.

Golem Invasion (Lorencia and Noria)

  • Golems spawn in groups of 4-8 in Lorencia (central coordinates) and Noria (near the Dungeon entrance).
  • HP per Golem: ~45,000 (Lorencia) / ~80,000 (Noria).
  • Featured drop: Jewel of Bless, Jewel of Soul, Excellent items level 5-7.
  • Recommended level: 150+ for Lorencia, 220+ for Noria.

Balrog Invasion (Dungeon and Atlans)

  • Balrogs are more resistant than Golems and spawn in smaller numbers (2-4 per invasion).
  • HP per Balrog: ~120,000.
  • Featured drop: Jewel of Life, Jewel of Chaos, level 9+ Sets.
  • Recommended level: 250+.

Dark Elf Invasion (Devias)

  • Dark Elfs are fast monsters with high physical damage. They spawn in large groups (8-15).
  • HP per Dark Elf: ~35,000, but their speed makes them dangerous for characters with low VIT.
  • Featured drop: Jewel of Soul, Jewel of Bless in quantity, Arrow/Bolt for Elf.
  • Recommended level: 200+.
Open invasion farm route (30-min cycle):
Lorencia center → check Golem spawn
→ Noria Dungeon entrance → check Golem spawn
→ Devias → check Dark Elf spawn
      → Dungeon 3 → check Balrog spawn

Stat Distribution to Maximize Invasions

Performance in invasions depends directly on attribute distribution. The following are specific recommendations for S6 at level 300 (a common entry point for intermediate invasions):

ClassSTRAGIVITENECMDPriority
Blade Knight700200350STR → VIT → AGI
Grand Master100100250800ENE → VIT → rest
High Elf100600200400AGI → ENE → VIT
Duel Master400300250400Balanced STR/ENE
Lord Emperor300150300400400CMD → ENE → VIT
Dim. Master100150250750ENE → VIT → AGI
Dica: The MG (Duel Master) has neither a first nor second quest in S6, meaning he cannot access Wing Level 1. Compensate by prioritizing Wing Level 2 as soon as possible — the difference in damage and defense is substantial for DS4 and DS5 invasions.

Conclusion: Building Your Invasion Routine

The key to making the most of invasions on ViciadosMU is consistency and planning. Set a routine based on BC and DS fixed schedules, fill the gaps with open-map invasion farming, and always keep enough tickets on hand for the next two cycles. With level 300+ and Excellent level 9 gear, you will be competing in the most profitable tiers and accelerating your progression significantly.

Perguntas frequentes

What level should I be before joining invasions?

The recommended minimum is level 200 for Kundun and Devil Square invasions. For Blood Castle, level 100 is enough as long as your character has decent gear for the corresponding tier.

Is it worth joining an invasion solo or only in a group?

It depends on the invasion. Blood Castle and Devil Square are more efficient solo or in a duo. Kundun and open-map invasions like Golems and Balrogs reward larger groups with more drops overall, but individual loot can be contested.

What are Excellent items and why are they so valuable in invasions?

Excellent items have up to 2 random bonus options (such as +life, +mana, +damage rate) that do not exist on regular items. Invasion bosses have a significantly higher Excellent drop rate than regular monsters.

Can Summoner and MG participate in invasions competitively?

Yes. The MG (Duel Master) excels in Devil Square due to mobility and area damage. The Summoner (Bloody Summoner/Dimension Master) shines in Blood Castle with positional control and sustained ranged damage.
