What Is the Dinorant and Why It Matters

The Dinorant is MU Online S6's most iconic mount. Unlike combat pets — such as the Dark Lord's Dark Horse — the Dinorant does not attack on its own, but grants your character the ability to fly along with passive stat bonuses that make a real difference in both farming and PvP.

While riding the Dinorant, you gain:

  • +5 maximum damage on basic attacks
  • +20 AGI (base bonus at +0, scaling up to +50 at +9)
  • Free movement across the map, including areas normally blocked by terrain
  • Instant access to any point on the map without walking through corridors

For classes like the Magic Gladiator (MG) and the Dark Lord (DL), the Dinorant is especially valuable. The MG does not go through the standard 1st and 2nd class quests and has no access to Level 1 Wings through that path, making the Dinorant its primary early mobility option. The DL, while relying on the CMD stat for Dark Horse efficiency, benefits from the Dinorant as a separate mobility layer that stacks with its pet.

Nota: The Dinorant does not replace Wings. It occupies the mount slot, not the wing slot. You can use Wings and the Dinorant simultaneously, making the combination extremely powerful for mobility and stats.

Ingredients Required to Craft the Dinorant

The Dinorant is crafted via the Chaos Goblin NPC using a Chaos Combination with specific parts dropped from monsters across medium-to-high difficulty maps.

Required Parts List

Horn of Uniria → Drop: Uniria (Lorencia, monster level ~40)
Claw of Beast → Drop: Beast (Devias/Dungeon 1-2, level ~55-70)
Scales of Cantabile → Drop: Cantabera (Lost Tower B1-B3, level ~85-95)
Eye of Abyssal → Drop: Abyssal Kalbus (Aida 1, level ~100-110)
Bead of Dinorant → Drop: Blinded Ghost / Dark Ghost (Tarkan 1, level ~115-130)

In addition to the parts, you need:

  • 1x Chaos Jewel (random drop from monsters or purchased from other players)
  • Enough Zen to cover the combination fee (varies by server configuration)
Atenção: The Chaos Combination has a success rate of approximately 70-80% depending on ViciadosMU server settings. Have spare parts or backup jewels ready before attempting. A failure destroys all ingredients placed in the combination.

Where to Farm Each Part: Maps and Strategy

The Uniria monster spawns in Lorencia and parts of Noria. This is the easiest ingredient to obtain. Characters of any level can farm here, but the drop rate is low — expect to spend 30 minutes to 2 hours per drop.

Spawn coordinates: central area of Lorencia, near the main buildings (approx. X: 140-170, Y: 130-160).

Claw of Beast — Devias and Dungeon

The Beast appears in Devias (recommended level 40+) and the first rooms of the Dungeon (recommended level 50+). A BK or SM at level 80+ will farm this trivially. Focus on Dungeon 1 for the best spawn density.

Scales of Cantabile — Lost Tower

The Cantabera is found on Lost Tower B1 through B3 (recommended level 70-90). This is the most laborious ingredient for characters still in mid-game progression because Lost Tower requires solid gear. A DW with at least 150 ENE and +5 equipment can farm here efficiently.

Route tip: enter through B1, then go directly to B2 where Cantabera density is highest. Avoid B3 until level 90+, as neighboring monsters there hit significantly harder.

Eye of Abyssal — Aida 1

The Abyssal Kalbus spawns in Aida 1, which requires at least level 95-100 for safe farming. This map is especially popular with Elfs (Muse Elf and High Elf) due to ranged attack reach. Expect competition for spawn spots.

Minimum recommended stats for Aida 1:

  • DK: 300 STR / 150 AGI / 150 VIT
  • DW: 100 STR / 50 AGI / 100 VIT / 300 ENE
  • Elf: 150 STR / 300 AGI / 100 VIT

Bead of Dinorant — Tarkan 1

The Bead is the rare ingredient. Blinded Ghost and Dark Ghost in Tarkan 1 have a lower drop rate than the other parts. Tarkan requires level 110+ for stable farming and the monsters deal high fire damage. Bring elemental resistance if available on the server.

Dica: If ViciadosMU has an active Drop Rate +X% event, prioritize farming the Bead of Dinorant in Tarkan during the event window. This part is the bottleneck of the recipe for most players.

Performing the Chaos Combination

With all ingredients in your inventory, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Noria and find the Chaos Goblin (NPC with gear icon)
  2. Click Chaos Combination
  3. Select the Dinorant recipe
  4. Place the 5 parts + 1 Chaos Jewel in the indicated slots
  5. Confirm and wait for the result
Dinorant Recipe:
Horn of Uniria → slot 1
Claw of Beast → slot 2
Scales of Cantabile → slot 3
Eye of Abyssal → slot 4
Bead of Dinorant → slot 5
Chaos Jewel (x1) → jewel slot
Success rate → ~70-80% (check server config)

On success, a Dinorant +0 will appear in your inventory. Right-click to equip it.

Upgrading the Dinorant

The Dinorant can be upgraded from +0 to +9 using Jewel of Bless and Jewel of Soul the same way regular equipment is upgraded.

LevelAGI BonusBreak Chance (no Luck)
+0+200%
+4+30Low
+7+40Moderate
+9+50High (use Jewel of Life)
Dica: For the Dinorant, unlike weapons, the benefit of going above +7 is marginal (+10 AGI from +7 to +9). For most players at mid-progression levels, a Dinorant +5 or +6 is the optimal cost-to-benefit point.

Using the Dinorant in Combat and Farming

While mounted on the Dinorant, your character cannot use skills that require specific ground movement, but retains access to all standard skills. Aerial mobility allows you to:

  • Escape PvP situations by flying over obstacles and terrain
  • Farm in dense areas without being blocked by map geometry
  • Reach Boss spawns quickly (Golden Budge Dragon, Erohim, etc.)

For the Dark Lord, the Dinorant has special synergy: the DL already has the Dark Horse as its main combat pet, and the Dinorant adds a mobility layer without replacing the horse. The DL's CMD stat increases Dark Horse damage and efficiency regardless of the Dinorant being equipped.

For the Magic Gladiator, which has no 1st or 2nd class quest and no access to Level 1 Wings through traditional quest progression, the Dinorant is the primary way to gain aerial mobility before obtaining Level 2 Wings through the 3rd Quest.
