PvP vs PvM builds in MU Online: how to choose and adapt
PvP and PvM call for different builds. See how to allocate points for each goal and adapt your class to your style.
One of the biggest questions when leveling in MU Online: focus PvP or PvM? Each calls for a different allocation. Here's how to choose.
PvM (hunting/farming)
- Focus on damage and attack/cast speed;
- Vitality only enough to survive spots;
- Goal: clear monsters and farm fast.
PvP (duels, Castle Siege)
- Focus on Vitality and resistances (rings/pendants);
- Enough damage to pressure, but not a "glass cannon";
- Goal: survive and win trades against other players.
| Aspect | PvM | PvP |
|---|---|---|
| Priority | Damage/speed | HP/resistance |
| Risk | Monsters | Players |
| Fatal error | Low damage (slow farm) | Low HP (dies fast) |
Hybrid build
Balances damage and survival — good for those who play everything. Loses a bit of peak in each, but avoids remaking the character.

Perguntas frequentes
What's the difference between a PvP and a PvM build?
A PvM build prioritizes damage and speed to farm monsters fast. A PvP build prioritizes survival (vitality, resistances) to beat other players. The same class can have both.
Can I have a hybrid PvP/PvM build?
Yes. A balanced build serves both reasonably, sacrificing a bit of peak in each. It's great for those who play everything without remaking the character.
